The appeal of croc's is that they are a super functional and comfy slip on shoe to wear around the house and to slip on quickly to go outside. They are ugly though and anyone you tells you they are fashionable is kidding themselves.

I usually wear them with socks, more comfortable that way and your feet don't sweat in them. I don't leave the house with them so fashion isn't a consideration in this case. Lol
