魔術僧週記 2024-06-22

最近每篇文章的開頭都是一張磅秤的圖,再加上一堆數字,有點不好看,所以開始先說點別的,最後再放磅秤圖。不減肥就不寫HIVE這個原則還是遵守的,各位放心,魔術僧絕不打誑語。

第一個要聊的照片,就是我今天是將近8個月來第一次紀錄走路/跑步。為什麼突然會想要跑步呢? 因為昨天晚上我在一個派對跟我的一個上司聊天,他年紀比我大挺多,已經五十幾歲了,卻是挑戰超級馬拉松的長跑運動員,一次跑上百公里。

我說我以前也跑步,但後來膝蓋開始痛,復健了許久但漸漸地就沒跑了。現在膝蓋不痛但不是很敢再繼續跑。他說要慢慢來,他以前就是訓練太過才有膝蓋痛。

於是我就自己一人去參加這個叫做park run的免費活動,跟一堆人一起走或跑五公里,男女老少都有。

這個park run的活動辦得很棒,已經很多年了,每個星期六早上都有一次,跑的是五公里。以上照片可以看到許多人在公園一起跑,比較有激勵的氛圍。

我本來想走一點,跑一點,沒想到剛開始就有一個朋友叫我的名字。我一轉過頭,原來是一個很多年前跑步認識的朋友。她帶著小狗一起,說她今天只是來走路的,於是我就陪她走了五公里,一邊溜狗一邊聊天。一下子就過了一小時,走完了也出了挺多汗。

我們走路的時候,聊到她竟然也是老師,教的是小學。我們也挺多興趣愛好相同,比如說愛跳國標舞,去健身房,愛看同樣的電視劇等。走完路後我們就說再見了。或許我應該主動些,約人家喝咖啡或什麼的。一切隨緣吧。

Nice, we have done Ipswich parkrun, it is a pretty hilly course from memory. I think it is a great place to meet people and work on your fitness. As I am getting older I spend a lot of time working on strength especially my legs, for my running. Maybe we can try and meet you at Ipswich one day in summer when it is not so dark and cold. Have you got the free 5 km app, it collects all your parkrun data.

thank you! great idea meeting up! a Brisbane Hive meetup at a park run lol. I haven't got the app as most of the time I don't even finish 5km - I only did it this time because my friend made me lol (and we only walked). You're a great runner!

We have walked parkrun before. It is all about building slowly. If I ran your parkrun, I would jog back and walk the last bit with you for some extra training.
