What am proud of

Good day Naija hivers.

Am happy to pen this down and I am grateful for the opportunity.
I don't show off, am easy going and difficult to understand. What gives me joy may differ from what gives other joy. During my secondary school days I didn't feel sad when I went home without a gift at the end of the year party. Neither did I feel too excited when I was given a price. I feel happy when my worth is rewarded.

When I was in Senior Secondary School 2, we all believed that the best students in the school were always in the science department.
Our vice principal then wanted to celebrate and decorate the best mathematics student in the school. In lieu of this, they gathered all science students from Senior Secondary School 1,2 and 3. The first phase of the exam was written (objective) this is to reduce the number of participants. After the first round, only three students managed to pass from Senior Secondary School 1, four passed from my class which included me and three from Senior Secondary School 3.
The second round was oral, the biggest challenge of this round is that we are not allowed to use calculators and working sheets, all calculations are done off hand.
The second phase which happens to be the last day of the competition was done on Friday. I am the best mathematics student in my class. All my classmates believed I was the only one that could represent the class well, so they stood by me.
The first section of the second phase I scored all the questions given to me, I happened to be the only one that scored all. Everybody applauded me, it's my first time I was applauded in mass.
In the second section I missed a single question while others missed two and above. A girl from Senior Secondary School 1 was close to my score. I got scared and I stayed focused.
After the last section where I scored all the questions too. I was announced as the best Mathematics Student of my school in the year 2011. With Ninety marks out of hundred marks obtainable.
My classmates hugged me, some shaked me and some of my juniors in school congratulated me.

That day I BuGa. I feel proud and am proud of that day, I was given a medal and the decoration started from me.
