Hive Naija Rebirth

My Naija people how una dey? I hope this meets us very well, so for a while now, there has been little or close to no activity in our community. We have noticed this and we have taken it upon ourselves to not only revive the community but bring it back better, asin mafo we dey for you.

Recently stake holders have had a few meetings and have decided to put the following and more in place in the bid to revive and rebuild the Nigerian Hive community:

1. Curation: We would be showing support for posts created in the Nigerian community generally, but in order to have high quality and create a standard of content in our community, we henceforth would have curators/reviewers go through posts created in the community to score for curation. Posts will now be curated based on the score which is relative with quality and relevance of content.

2. Contests: In the bid to pull in more writers while supporting good works, we would be having contests periodically. We are yet to decide what contests and when they'll hold as this is open to suggestions.

These are the suggestions we have recieved and most of us would agree to this that the ideas above are part of what makes a community. But to achieve this goal of Hive Naija 2.0 we need your support, lots of it.

We expect that all members of the community be up and doing on their blogs, if you have been off for a while, well dear now is the time to come back home !!! We need you, we want you, we cannot do without you, we need you to survive, if you get jollof sha bring am we go share lol.

We encourage you to keeping voting, and dropping good and well constructed comments wherever you are on Hive, do this for the community and the force be with you !!!
