Hello HIVE community. In this week 63 in this wonderful community of Hive Open Mic, I am going to present to you the song "It was her voice", by Junior. This song brings me great memories of my youth. I heard this song in the early 80's; by then I was a boy who loved music, but mostly liked to write poetry. A few years later when I was 15 I entered night school, to be able to work during the day, there I met a young guitarist who liked to sing a lot, and we agreed on our musical tastes, so we decided to sing a duet, and one of the first songs we interpreted was precisely the song "It was his voice." In those days I had written a song for mothers, entitled "She is the mother" and we decided to put music to it and interpret it, precisely for a mother's day; it was a total success. Unfortunately for one thing or another, after participating in some contests and giving some serenades, we could not continue with our project, and each one took care of different things. Many years later while I was working in Europe, I received the sad news that my great friend had been murdered in Colombia, so when I hear and sing this song, I feel a little sad about his fateful departure. Nowadays I continue singing as a form of distraction and fun, as I dedicate myself more to writing and making songs.

Hola comunidad HIVE. En esta semana 63 en esta maravillosa comunidad de Hive Open Mic, les voy a presentar la canción "Fue su voz", de Junior. Esta canción me trae grandes recuerdos de mi juventud. Escuché esta canción a principios de los 80; para entonces yo era un muchacho al que le encantaba la música, pero sobre todo le gustaba escribir poesía. Unos años después cuando tenía 15 entré a la escuela nocturna, para poder trabajar durante el día, allí conocí a un joven guitarrista al que le gustaba mucho cantar, y coincidíamos en nuestros gustos musicales, así que decidimos cantar a dúo. , y una de las primeras canciones que interpretamos fue precisamente la canción "Fue su voz". En esos días yo había escrito una canción para madres, titulada "Ella es la madre" y decidimos ponerle música e interpretarla, precisamente para el día de las madres; Fue un éxito total. Desafortunadamente por una cosa u otra, luego de participar en algunos concursos y dar algunas serenatas, no pudimos continuar con nuestro proyecto, y cada uno se encargó de cosas diferentes. Muchos años después, mientras trabajaba en Europa, recibí la triste noticia de que mi gran amigo había sido asesinado en Colombia, así que cuando escucho y canto esta canción, me siento un poco triste por su fatídica partida. Hoy en día sigo cantando como una forma de distracción y diversión, ya que me dedico más a escribir y hacer canciones.

Antonio Morales Barreto, known as Junior, was a Hispanic-Filipino singer and actor based in Madrid, Spain. Junior was a member of the Spanish musical groups Los Pekenikes, Los Brincos and Juan y Junior, very popular during the 1960s.
He was born on September 10, 1943 in Manila, Philippines and passed away on April 15, 2014, Torrelodones, Spain
He was married to the famous Spanish singer Rocío Durcal (1970–2006) with whom they were the parents of: Antonio Morales, Shaila Dúrcal, and Carmen Morales
It is believed that "It was her voice", it was his best album.
Antonio Morales Barreto, conocido como Junior, fue un cantante y actor hispano-filipino afincado en Madrid, España. Junior formó parte de los grupos musicales españoles Los Pekenikes, Los Brincos y Juan y Junior, muy populares durante los años sesenta.
Nació el 10 de septiembre de 1943 en Manila, Filipinas y falleció el 15 de abril de 2014, Torrelodones, España.
Estuvo casado con la famosa cantante española Rocío Durcal (1970-2006) con quien fueron padres de: Antonio Morales, Shaila Dúrcal, Carmen Morales
Se cree que "Fue su voz", fue su mejor disco.
