But first I want to thank God because on Tuesday August 22 I turned 40 years old and I celebrated it in a very simple way with my parents, my brother and my nephew... I share with you some pictures of that day and I take this opportunity to thank those who congratulated me that day, I carry you here in my heart 👉❤️.

Like many others, I believe that gratitude is an elevated act of faith that can be performed in the form of a ritual or in simple actions that contribute to spread the message of love, that which must come from within us to be shared with our fellow men and women.

Gratitude strengthens our self-esteem, our self-concept, our morale, our vision and perception of life from a very spiritual point of view as it connects us directly with the source of wisdom which therefore leads us to have a healthier, fuller and happier life.

I tend to be very grateful and I like that whoever comes to me feels great and knows that they can count on me and even if the treatment I give is not reciprocated, I am grateful for having crossed paths with that person because it also nourishes my existence and allows me to improve my way of relating to others. However, my idea today is not to talk about social skills but about the gratitude I feel for music and how it has rescued me from particular situations…

The song I will play for you is called "Bad Habits" by the talented British composer Ed Sheeran whose music has reached all corners of the world and has earned him multiple awards for his great recordings. This song belongs to his 5th studio album called "=" or "Equal" and is the promotional single of this album released in June 2021. The version that I bring is the one made by one of my favorite metal bands called Bring Me The Horizon, where Ed himself participated singing some verses and in the middle of thunderous guitar riffs, they delighted us in February last year with such a production that I consider is at the height or even better than the original, judge for yourselves.

I identify myself a lot with this song because many years ago I developed a bad habit in my day to day life and little by little it became a lifestyle... I am referring to insomnia. I think many of us deal with this, I personally changed my routines completely because at night I am usually more productive and my creativity is at its peak. This had not generated problems for me because my way of working has been independent for a long time, but, logically at some point this would become something unpleasant because it was progressively isolating me from important experiences.

A few months ago I started to work on it, I attended medical consultations and looked for a way to be able to adapt to the normal rhythm of sleep, it has been a hard task for me, but I have advanced a lot and I hope to achieve a fuller life with what I am doing. Those who know me well know that this has been normal in my way of living, but unquestionably these adjustments were necessary for many reasons.

I think that adapting to live like this for many years, made my mind create an aversion to the day, so much so that when the sun rose it was annoying for me and what made me react the most was that this was already affecting my loved ones, so I decided to put an end to it and start having a better vision of what I want for myself.

It is the first time I talk about something so deep and I hope it is an example of motivation for those who have suffered or suffer from this, because although it may seem somewhat exaggerated, it is the reality of many people and I know you will think that being a psychologist, I should have handled this in many ways and I did, only that our weaknesses as humans sometimes tend to be more powerful.

There was a point where I came to feel like the character in the original video for the song, a vampire roaming the streets looking to socialize at night; now I feel like the same character at the end of the video 🙌😀💛

My gratitude begins with the support I receive from my family and very special people around me and also from the hand of God for making me see in time how much this was affecting me in many aspects of my life. Music also comes into play in this as it is part of my therapy and allows me to positively reinforce (as in other moments) the goal I have set for myself to accomplish.
