Alive & Thriving Monday : Oh No, It's Summer! || AATYr4 || LarryIsAlive

Alas, it's another Monday! It's the last for March though as we welcome a new month by next Monday. 😱 Yeah, the first quarter will soon be gone. The days are all the same except I can now feel more heat as it's officially been declared the summer season here. Funny how I used to love summer as a kid. Well, there's the summer break from school, that's why. No such fun anymore as an adult. 😝 I'm tempted to turn on the cooling system. However, it's not really that hot yet. I guess I will just turn on some extra fans and hope they won't overheat. I swear mini appliances these days are sorta disposable. They work to a certain extent then kaput! 😆

I took this 'after' photo last night. That's the improved set up now. The kitties have not tried getting on the extra shelf there. I guess they were used to being told not to (in the past). It was too dirty then, that's why. Plus, there was a hole behind the exhaust fan before. Now, it's designed to be escape proof so indoor kitties will not attempt to exit there anymore. It's not safe for them.

Alive Chat Monday : Plan Out Your New Week - And Follow Your Plan To Success

I'm focused on simplifying and saving more for the year. I keep repeating this weekly so I'm reminded of it every so often. The rising cost of living makes it truly challenging. At times, I need to find the balance between sticking to essentials and treating myself to some extras once in a while. I guess the trick is not to get trapped on the pleasure trap. For me, that's a start -- being mindful and aware that there's such a thing as pleasure trap. Come to think of it, we can all do with a lot less (less hoard, more space is an example I can think of). I'm glad that these days I am more mindful of stuff that I purchase, mostly buying only those that I truly need.

Pet supplies were ordered and delivered today. I do plan on this in advance but prefer to do the purchases weekly. I'm taking advantage of the convenience of living in the city and that deliveries can be made faster as the pet shop seller is located not too far away. If I were to relocate farther from the city, I will need to plan differently.

As it turned out, I replaced the water tank yesterday. Yeah I guess I have started drinking more water as it's getting warmer. I feel the need to hydrate more. I do wonder how hot will it be this year. Well, stay tuned...

Lenten holidays are coming up this week. In the past we worked only until Wednesday. Then we got the rest of the week off and went back to work the next Monday. I trust it will be the same this year. 🤞However, I heard my online seller neighbors will only be closed on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Aww shucks! I would have loved a quieter longer weekend. 😂 oh well...

LN - daily goal completed for the challenge 👍 at least I got at least ten mails today 😂

CTPX - was multitasking earlier so I passed my usual stop so I got to do slightly more for today's run 😝 found out I won once yesterday 🍀

LL - got my cash out. I think I mentioned this. I got to cash it in my local digital wallet. However, there's now a 1% fee (used to be free). Boohoo! guess everyone wants a share of everyone else's earnings now. 😒

TAB - did my minimum daily surf on TAB. the lucky 888 is elusive once again. I'm glad for the little extra points though.

FAFY - did just the minimum activity today. just waiting for the stat to reset in a few days. Also, my 30-day consecutive login is almost here. I think I'll get the bonus in two days' time.

ITB - completed another five shares today. I wonder if trying my luck on lottery will be faster than waiting to have more BTCs. 🤣
