Student Hunt : : I onboarded four new students.

Another successful day of Hive marketing, Hive got four new users from the University of Lagos State

I have scheduled Mondays for Hive promotions at the University of Lagos State, and it has been the most effective day for meeting interested students.
So far, I have onboarded eight students from this school, and with mentorship, they are gradually making progress on short-form content.

Yesterday was another memorable day for me in Hive marketing, as I had a very beautiful experience that I will share with you all. However, first let me provide a detailed account of the success we achieved yesterday.

I got up very early, get dressed and left my house to the proposed destination for marketing, spending an hour plus on the road but finally got there, I meet with other hivers who also came out for Hive promotion as we all agreed in the watspp group where we communicate, despite being newbies they are convinced about Hive and decided to participate in promoting Hive.

We converged and had brief discussion, then moved into hunting for interested students.

I explained to those who were interested what they should expect. The most important thing is that they should have in mind that Hive is not a get-rich-quick scheme rather, it is a space where everyone who believes in decentralisation and web3 should be, and of course there are some rewards tho not guaranteed.
I met with some students who knew a little about Crypto. After checking Hive value in crypto market they were not iinterested so we continue searching we don't force people or promise them of making millions rather after explanation they make their choice either to get onboarded or not.

Finally, we met with some who were interested and that happens to be @anuoluwapo21, @danie022, @maverick1290 @kikicakes

I onboarded them paying 3 hive each and also checked them l in using the @checkinwith.xyz provided by @starkerz and his team member, I first I experienced lots of network failures, I kept trying till I was able to check them and approved.

With the help of other hivers, we thought them how to create short form content and I promised to mentor them on how to create long content so that they can do the @threespeak task that will help them become familiar with hive, next week Monday we will get to that but before then they can create short content for now.

Onboarding @kikicakes was just a different board game, She is a level 400 student in the school and have been baking snacks to sell before or after her lectures for the past four years, she approached us to buy from her and that was how I told her about Hive where she can share her experience and also meet successful entrepreneurs and she was happy to come join hive, I was touched by her approach.

After hunting for new student we had to meet with the old ones we onboarded last week, I thought them how to create long content on ecency, the importance of choosing the right tags and how engagement helps them to grow, hopefully they will be dropping their introduction post and other task soon.

Yesterday another fulfilled day and hopefully next week Monday will also be another beautiful day for Hive promotion.
