Morning Gratitude and Family Time
Today was an incredibly enriching day, filled with valuable lessons, meaningful connections, and personal growth. I began my morning with gratitude, waking up in good health and with renewed energy. After thanking God for another day of life, I went through my usual morning routine before enjoying a hearty breakfast with my family. These small moments of togetherness always set a positive tone for the day.
Networking and Collaboration
After breakfast, I reached out to some friends and business partners to exchange ideas and discuss potential opportunities. I look forward to this conversations as it helps in collaboration and sharing of perspectives.
Mentorship Session on spendHBD
Later in the day, I met with one of my business associates, and together, we visited our mentor in the Hive blockchain space—Madam Blessing Uzomah from Hive.
Madam Uzomah, with her vast experience in the Hive blockchain, took time to educate us on spendHBD, a concept we were not very familiar with. She broke it down in simple terms, explaining how it works and how it will be beneficial to us. Her patience and ability to simplify complex topics made the session incredibly insightful.
Exploring Local Businesses Using spendHBD
She also shared practical knowledge about listed businesses in Uyo that are part of spendHBD.
Some of businesses, include:
- Supermarkets
- Restaurants and eateries
- Hair and skincare product stores
This information was particularly useful because we learnt how we could shop products for our everyday use at a subsidized rate.
Sharing Knowledge with Family
On my way home, I couldn’t wait to share what I had learned with my daughter, who has been showing a keen interest in Hive blockchain. She was captivated by the concept and said she couldn't wait to explore the community.
Reflection and Continued Growth
Today was another reminder that learning never stops. Whether through mentorship, personal research, or discussions with peers, every day presents an opportunity to grow. I am truly grateful for the guidance of Madam Uzomah and the chance to expand my understanding of Hive’s potential.
