ShoKin Day : 8

You know what time it is when Shoppers meet up on a weekend, it’s time for fun, connection, and unforgettable moments. SHOKiN Day 8 was finally here, and there was no way I was going to miss it. Our local guide, @fokusnow, had suggested Tiger Bar as the venue, and everyone quickly agreed. Saturday at 12 noon was the set time, and we were all geared up for another exciting Shoppers Connect meetup.

Shoppers Connect is more than just a gathering; it is a special event that brings us, the Shoppers, together to relax, and share our unique experiences shopping with HBD.

It is also an opportunity to brainstorm ways to onboard new users. SHOKiN Day 8 was no different, it was all about laughter, learning, and loads of fun.

When I first heard the name "Tiger Bar," I couldn’t help but wonder what inspired it. Why name a bar after a tiger? Curiosity got the better of me, and when I arrived, the answer was crystal clear. The bar’s interior was a masterpiece, with its walls covered in striking tiger-themed artwork. The paintings were bold and beautiful. It was a stark opposite to the plain yellow and blue walls you often see in bars in my city.

As I walked in, I was greeted by familiar faces @fokusnow, @bummblebee, @dinaks44, @empressjay, @mayorboo, @bakinba, @ijebest, @luchyl, @iamchimary, @wisdomike, and @positive15 who were already seated, engaged in conversations. I quickly joined the group, and the energy was infectious. The discussions ranged from our shopping experiences with HBD to tips and tricks for onboarding new users. It was insightful, but more than that, it was a lot of fun. We laughed, shared stories, and exchanged ideas, all while soaking in the cozy atmosphere of the bar.

The highlight of the day, however, was the food, I live for food yhunno.

I ordered rice and pepper soup, and let me tell you, it was a delight! The pepper soup was bursting with flavor, spicy, and perfectly seasoned. The rice complemented it beautifully.

The excellent customer service only added to the experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure that we were well taken care of throughout the day. Although the bar had a strict no-picture policy, we couldn’t resist capturing a few moments to remember the day. We discreetly managed to snap some group photos.

SHOKiN Day 8 was everything I had hoped for and more. It wasn’t just about connecting with other Shoppers, it was about celebrating our shared passion, creating bonds, and having an unforgettable time. I can’t wait for the next Shoppers Connect.
