Announcing Five New Speakers
We are pleased to introduce the following new speakers who will be joining us at HiveFest 2024:
@missbitcoin-sv: An advocate for Bitcoin in El Salvador, missbitcoin-sv will share her journey into the world of crypto, her work on promoting food self-sustainability, and the Water Well Project in Ghana. Her talk will highlight the growth of Bitcoin as legal tender in El Salvador and its economic benefits.
@eturnerx: Transitioning from academia to game development, eturnerx will discuss the evolution from the '80s computer revolution to Web3 gaming. Attendees will get an exclusive first look at his new hyper-casual card battler game.
Joel from Dash: Joël Valenzuela, a seasoned cryptocurrency user and advocate, will speak on "The Evolution of Freedom Money". He will explore the journey of digital cash from its inception to its resurgence with modern tools that enable mass adoption.
@achim03: Co-founder of Liotes, achim03 has over a decade of experience in the crypto world. He will discuss the Liotes project, its contributions to the Hive ecosystem, and future initiatives to promote HivePower growth and engagement.
@ph1102: Also a co-founder of Liotes, ph1102 is a strong advocate for decentralization, equality, transparency, and freedom of speech. He will join achim03 in presenting their three-year-old Liotes project and their vision for the future.
Introducing the Full-Day Boat Trip
After two intense days of conference sessions, it's time to unwind with a full-day boat trip on the crystal blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. The trip will take place on the luxurious Korsaro boat, offering full board and an unforgettable experience.
Itinerary:
Blue Lagoon Drvenik Veliki: Our first stop will be the stunning Blue Lagoon, known for its crystal-clear waters and beautiful surroundings. It's the perfect spot for swimming and relaxing.
Via Crucis Underwater Museum: Next, we'll visit the world’s only Via Crucis (Stations of the Cross) under the sea. This unique underwater museum features 14 Stations of the Cross with 52 life-size statues and an 8-meter-tall statue of Jesus Christ. The museum is accessible to divers of all levels and can even be seen by snorkelers and swimmers due to the excellent visibility.
Trogir: Our final stop will be the historic town of Trogir. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Trogir is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, charming streets, and stunning coastal views. Explore the town's rich history and enjoy the local culture before heading back to Split.
