Clean water is vital for survival. During the flood in the north, people couldn’t find any drinking water as they didn’t have any bottle water for emergency. They didn’t have any water filter either! So, lots of flood water was useless for drinking!
Had they have charcoal stove, they could have boiled some river water for consumption.
I was very lucky as I had my water tank high up. So I could survive during the bad flood for almost two weeks. Rescuer came to give some food but I already had my supply of emergency food! They couldn’t believe that I refused to leave the flooded house. I had to look after my two orange cats!
