Amazingly, this is now the 3rd year I've been telling you about our annual timber delivery here on HIVE. It's crazy how time flies, isn't it?
Well, this year the delivery came again as usual in October, which was very good, The weather, a beautiful sunny autumn day was perfect.
Our usual helper unfortunately dropped out. Lucky, at short notice, the neighbour and the friend of my niece had time to help us. My dad still has problems with one hand and I, well, I'm already fit, but with such actions I notice that I'm not at my best.
Erstaunlich, dies ist nun schon das 3. Jahr in dem ich hier auf HIVE von unserer jährlichen Holzlieferung erzähle. Verrückt, wie die Zeit vergeht, oder?
Nun, dieses Jahr kam die Lieferung wieder wie gewohnt im Oktober, was sehr gut war, Das Wetter, ein schöner sonniger Herbsttag war perfekt.
Unser übliches Helferlein ist leider ausgefallen. Glück gehabt, kurzfristig hatten der Nachbar und der Freund meiner Nichte Zeit uns zu helfen. Mein Dad hat immer noch Probleme mit einer Hand und ich, naja bin schon fit, aber bei solchen Aktionen merke ich, dass ich nicht auf meinem besten Level bin.

Zuerst denkt man jedesmal, oh mei das nimmt kein Ende. Aber Stück für Stück schrumpft der eine Haufen, während der andere wächst.

I have to say that it is really very good beech wood with a very good calorific value and with this amount of wood we heat about 140 square metres of the house over the entire heating period.

Ich muss dazusagen es ist wirklich sehr gutes Buchenholz mit einem sehr gutem Brennwert und mit dieser Holzmenge heizen wir ca 140 Quadratmeter des Hauses über die gesamte Heizperiode.

Crazy, isn't it? The same supplier every year. Whereas this is almost the entire heating costs for the year and 100 EUR per month is still good these days. There are actually only minimal electricity costs for the circulation pump, the switch for the additional possible electric heating is almost never switched on.
Verrückt oder? Jedes Jahr derselbe Lieferant. Wobei dies fast die gesamten Heizkosten des Jahres sind und 100 EUR pro Monat heutzutage immer noch gut ist.
