AI is all over the place and we are not going to be able to change that, for sure. So in a monetized system like Hive, the discussion about "is it good or bad" had already started a while ago - and also among the wise wild bunch at the Silverbloggers. What do we curate, what not ?!? Where do we draw the line and why ?!?
The Silverbloggers' Team of Excellence - The Silverators - have, after "thousands" of hours of reunions in many countries of this world, decided as a team that we will not turn a blind eye to posts that are potentially AI-generated. We will use the comment below on these blogs..:
We are aware that AI is becoming a kind of norm, even at Hive. Technology is going this way... we can't stop it. Given that Hive is a platform for ORIGINAL CONTENT, which is monetized, we review the articles in our community.
- To us, original content means that the authors' posts are unique, with their own ideas, in their own words, and not AI-generated text. When it comes to AI images, they must be indicated as such and/or the source credited (as is usual on Hive).
In the interest of the well-being of the Silver Bloggers' Hive community, we do not support or curate posts that we consider totally AI-generated, regardless of whether they are written blog posts or unsourced graphic images.
We do use online to check for AI, and if the results give us a “probably AI-generated” response, we will not upvote the post with our Mother Account.
We are taking this action out of respect, so that everyone can both have a positive experience and succeed within the Hive blockchain!
Thank you for understanding!
Dear Silverblogger, if ever you get this comment, we ask you kindly to reconsider the way you are using the blockchain.
That said, the Silverbloggers Team acknowledges that many bots are sophisticated. However, because they still operate based on binary code, (just Ones and Zeros) input by programmers, they may not fully grasp the human tone of your post.
So, if you feel that we have incorrectly deemed your post as AI-generated, please come and talk to us in our "Coffee Corner" on Discord, so we can correct the judgment of these "intelligent machines" and get you the support you deserve.
Last words...
We would love to get more eyes on this post and all community posts from - @hive-106316 - our Silver Bloggers Mother Account. This is why we make a point of reblogging your posts. Please do the same?!

Come and join our Silver Bloggers community
And a big THANK YOU for your support
Your ‘tips’ and ‘delegations’ help the community to support ! Thank you !The “true” way of a community is to support each other, also on Hive. Since it doesn't make sense to wait for the mercy of a millionaire to send us $$$ - we support each other with the best we can. Tipping or delegating is a way to show that you appreciate the work . It works even after a contribution has gone through the seven days of voting, and thus the opportunity for gracious "giving" is over. Another plus - that way no one can ‘steal’ your given support, not even the often ego-selfish pointless Down-Voters. We thank you for all the support you give, anywhere !

Great idea. I am so over it I don't even comment, I just mute the post. People in the community should read the community rules imo and I assume they have (unlikely) so muting is justified. Plus, I don't want an argument when people get irrationally upset about an accusation and start down voting as revenge. Sigh.
That's a whole other point we could probably talk for looooong about... the reading of community
rulesguidelines. The trend i can see, is really going direction "idiocracy" mixed with - gimme my lambo right now, i wont do anything for it, but i want it right now - and then complain and behave like a spoiled arrogant brat when you say that you do not like or agree. Yep, sigh!Thank you for reading and leaving your comment !

I think it is very intelligent and healthy to make this publication. In my town they say that “In war warned, no soldier dies”. Greetings and thanks for the information. Reblogged!!! A nice Thursday.
Thank you Nancy... and that is a intelligent quote you have there ! Have an excellent and sunny day !
Are you getting AI generated posts then?
I'm guessing they're fairly easy to spot for seasoned moderators, used to reviewing lots of posts - you get a feel for some-one's "voice" or style, so if something well-presented but utterly devoid of personality turns up, you can quickly pick it out.
Yes, there are some... laziness is getting to folks with the possibilites of these machines. Then from new accounts and also from "non"-english speaking users, which i can get somehow.
The AI generated pictures are the big part in all this, for now. And the trend is growing. I'll give it another few years and we wont spot them easy anymore. Even now it is getting harder by day!
😎
Sounds good to me, I agree. It doesn't make sense to copy AI-generated texts. At our age, there are many stories in our minds, and AI will never know those, only each of us. Thanks for the information.
Many stories to tell, yep. Though i get the part of using machines too, it's easier then working on finding the right words for sure. That's, to me, where the wheat from the chaff separates, from the ones only here to ask for the Lambo, without doing anything, just demanding.
Thanks for reading and leaving a comment. Much appreciated!
Thank you so much.
Fully support the exclusion of lazy fuckers who use AI, Brain dead chancers springs to mind
They're so easy to spot, perfectly written posts and responses! Lazy cheats.
Yes indeedy !
AI is around us but still the human written content is fun to read. AI should be good only for the image generation but not the words. It's good to clarify that you're not supporting ai generated content. Thanks for sharing this update
Yeah, the images... not sure about all this. Especially the videos are getting better and better, that soon enough we wont really be able to see the "deep fakes" in all this. Journalism has already its problems with all that. Thank you for reading and leaving a comment !
Yes I totally agree to that, AI are usefull for other task but writing should be done in our own words🤗 nice meeting you
Yep, kinda my point too... the machines can help to make simplify our own work, but just to the point that it's still our own work.
Thank you for reading and leaving a comment !
AI has become the new reality and we gotta deal with it. I appreciate the step the community is taking. It will increase the work of curators but their efforts are meant to preserve human originality.
I appreciate the door opened for communication if anyone considers that their work is misregarded as AI generated, because it is something that happens too.
Hello Amber, it certainly is a bit more work and getting harder too, since the machines are advancing and even proposing to make their text less robotic... ha, quite a joke actually.
And for sure we have always a open door, it is important to be able to discuss - one thing humans are loosing also in real life, the more and more. Sadly!
It's alarming. I feel distressed, at times, thinking of the time when originality would be a rate entity to find out
It is still, in fact more important than ever... or we are really gonna end like in the movie "idiocracy". :grimacing:
I have not watched the movie 🤪, but I will look into its story now
For everyone interested in more around Artificial "Intelligence", there is a hive article in the works... still some points to research and check out, but it's coming - soon.
One part of it, my chat with chatGPT is already online, since with this quite special chat, it was becoming to big of a Monster and the only real Monsters i create are normally sandwiches.
