Life has always been 'waste not want not' growing up, carried through since literally drummed into us from young. Nothing ever thrown into a dirt bin there are many needing, or use for compost heap.

What irks me is double or triple plastic and polystyrene use with food packaging, my Dad bought meat daily not having a large fridge, wrapped in wax wrap and brown paper. Veggie shop you took a bag, bought by weight and placed into hessian bag to carry home. Milk and Orange juice arrived in bottles all recycles, what went wrong?
