Strange how differently we all react to similar situations. What appears to be impossible to one person is seen as a challenge to overcome by someone else. Some are successful, not necessarily in the sense of what the world sees as success. No, it's overcoming obstacles, picking up the pieces, putting them together again, till everything eventually falls into place.
Some obstacles seem impossible to overcome, just like this 1,500-piece jigsaw puzzle. Difficult, yes, but achievable, and one needs patience and perseverance.
It looks like a real mess, all jumbled and way too complex, right?
This quaint micro puzzle, on the other hand, only has 100 pieces. Will it be easier to complete? Some of us have become experts at complicating minor issues in life and blowing them out of proportion.
I hear some ask what Lizzie is on about; jigsaw puzzles of all things!
Well, I'm hoping that the pieces of the puzzle I've been struggling to put together will soon be complete. Or nearer to completion.
I finally have a buyer, and if all goes to plan, Mom's legacy will live on, my staff will be taken over by the new owners, and I may have a part-time job, more about that when those pieces of the puzzle fall into place!
The search for a new home is just beginning. Exciting times ahead, but as with the pieces of a puzzle, it will have to be the right fit to help me build a new piece of paradise!

Assembling puzzles is very important, it exercises the mind and at our age it is much more. We photograph the image and then we get down to work, we take each piece and look for where it fits. This is how we project ourselves in life, which for better or worse is a big puzzle and you have been able to place each piece very well. The new house is waiting for you and in all those boxes you are carrying there is a giant puzzle that will be your new home. I know you will keep us informed and we can even help you to complete your new puzzle. A big hug.🥰❤️❤️

Thank you very much.
Awe what a lovely way to look at it @mamani! You are a very special lady with wonderful insight. I'm excited at the prospect of a new chapter in my life, a new puzzle to build.
I'll think of you when I unpack those boxes and see the pieces of that puzzle fall into place.
Thank you my friend🧡
I hope everything goes well with the buyers and finding a new home!! 🤞 Btw, I love (loved, as I gave away all the boxes I had while moving) completing jigsaw puzzles 😊
Thank you dear @mipiano! I've done a load of virtual househunting this week, not finding the perfect fit, so can't complete the puzzle yet😉
I'll only be taking the micro puzzle with, all those big boxes can't come with. I've been decluttering big time, they've landed on the pile of giveaways😉
Before I started making art (so more than 8 years ago) I was a fan of puzzles. I have completed a few 3000 pieces puzzles and one 6000 puzzle. Now I no longer solve puzzles but I think that this experience has given me patience and stubbornness needed to in making my art now.
Wow, that's amazing @fieryfootprints! All this talk about jigsaw puzzles, and I'm not any good at them, I need to learn patience! In real life as well😉 My one employee is super skilled at doing them.
Thank you for the valued comment!
I saw one girl on youtube solving puzzles and participating in puzzle championships(?) I had no idea that such a thing even existed...
I didn't know about that!
It's quite amazing seeing all the different kinds of championships there are for unknown sports and even competitive hobbies/mind-sports like this!
You've been curated by @plantpoweronhive! Delegations welcome!
Oh a buyer, that is brilliant news! Fingers crossed it all goes to plan Lizzie!
Thank you Ed, I believe it will, fingers crossed. Such a nice couple, they immediately fell in love with the property, house and garden!
It was quite a weekend, someone else wanted to make a cash offer, but was waiting for his partner, so he lost out.
I've started looking where my brother lives, a lovely area where Arthur and I often went on jaunts.
Oh wow, a bit like buses here. None come for ages, then all of a sudden two come along at once. Sounds like things are coming together finally. Am chuffed for you Lizzie.
We got a new agent onboard just a week ago, she had a 3rd client that also loved the place, but he didn't want such a big garden. Apparently his wife was still fighting with him🤭
My life feels like a bit of a jigsaw puzzle as well these days, but as long as we keep picking the pieces up and seeing where they might fit, I believe things always fall into place. I'm glad to hear that you are continuing your mom's legacy and staying positive. The analogy of this post was motivating to me, thank you for that :)
Thank you so much @grindan, I'm so glad you got something out of the analogy.
The fact that the new owners want to keep the bnb running is a big bonus for everyone!
I absolutely agree with you that things always fall into place, not always the way we feel it should. But, afterwards you see why things happened the way they did.
Have a great Wednesday further @grindan <3
That's great news @lizelle. Hoping that it now all goes to plane and ypu have more time to concentrate on big jig saws
Thank you @grindle, I'm very chuffed with the buyers, lovely people. And super excited to look for a place closer to my family!
LOL, yes, more time to play😉
Super 👍
It's true, Lizzie, that some of life's puzzles are less complicated than they seem. But when we think it's difficult and suddenly the pieces fit, and we see them taking shape and Voila! everything flows, it's so good!
Glad to hear the ¨puzzle¨of your new home hehe goes well. Best of luck and may everything go according to your convenience.
Big hugs!
Thank you so much Eli! Yes it was a bittersweet moment, I actually burst into tears after the signing. Happy that they're such a nice couple and that I can settle closer to my brother, and sad for obvious reasons, 50 years and no Arthur to move with me! Looking forward to the change.
I'm glad things are going to plan. Are you planning to join your son in the NL or stay in SA?
Thank you so much, dear @erikah. I'll stay in SA, and go across for a couple of months during our winter. I'll have more time to get around, looking forward to a new chapter.
Oh, that sounds exciting!
I am very happy thanks @shanibeer 😊
So it will be, a new piece of paradise that you will call home very soon. Congratulations
Seeing a puzzle makes me excited to do arrange or solve it but when its difficult I felt irritated, my goal is to stop until its done.
