Did you know your current love in high school?
No, I did not, we grew up across the river from one another but I moved to another state when I was 15, we met after I came back to Fl.

What type of car did you drive?
I did not drive a car but had two friends who drove their parent's car.

What kind of work did you do?
I did babysitting for a couple who lived nearby.

Where did you live?
Out in the boonies from Ava Missouri

Were you popular?
In no way was I popular, the only year I went to high school was the year we moved to MO from FL and I do not think they ever saw someone with a natural tan, they were all so white.

Were you in band or choir?
no

What did you do after your graduation ceremony?
I only went one year and quit end of 9th grade

Ever get suspended?
No
Did you ever skip school?
Not in high school

Did you attend football games?
No

What was your favorite subject?
Math

Do you still have your yearbook(s)?
I never had one

Did you follow your intended career path?
I never thought I would be a commercial fisherman, that was more of a dream. I thought I would be a teacher.

Do you still have your high school ring?
no

Who was your favorite teacher?
I can not remember her name and she was not in high school she taught GED classes that I took 7 years after quitting school

What was your hairstyle?
I am not sure what the style was called but I rolled my hair on beer can size hair rollers to make it straight

What were your favorite shoes?
I liked knee high boots

What was your favorite food?
I skipped lunch to buy cigarettes and a cherry orange aid drink from the counter at the drugstore.

Who was your favorite singer?
Jim Croce

What cologne did you wear?
Did not wear it.

How old were you when you graduated?
Did not graduate high school but got my GED when I was 21

Did you have any nicknames?
Not in school, that was the only place I was called by my real name.

What high school did you attend?
Ava High

What year did you graduate?
I quit in 1973, did not graduate

What’s changed the most about the world since you graduated?
Prices and technology

How have you changed since high school?
I have gotten older, a lot older. Other than that, I do not think I have changed much.

If you could time-travel and tell your teenage self something what would it be?
I have thought about this and thought I could not go back and change who I marry because I would not have the children that I love.

I think the safest thing to tell my teen self would be when the time came, to buy stock in technology companies. In the 1980s I laughed when my teenage daughter came home from school one day and said we needed to put money into a company called Intel and wanted us to buy .coms. We should have listened to her.
