Chronicle of the girl with the blue Yaris

_Step on the brake, step on the brake - my brother would shout, and his shouts made me even more nervous.
_To the left, slowly, not so fast - my brother-in-law would say, and my lack of coordination and nearsightedness made the car fall into potholes, ditches, or run over some debris.

As the months went by, I kept spending money on taxis and now also spending on my own car. What was supposed to be a solution became a problem. So when my brother-in-law said he would buy a car, I told him I could sell him mine. My father got upset because my car, according to him, 'was a good car. The problem was that I hadn't gotten attached to it.' He told me as if some objects needed love to be okay. Here, between us, when I sold my Yaris, more than sadness or pain, I felt a profound relief.

This post is in response to the new initiative that the @silverbloggers community has for all of us. I'll leave the invitation post over here in case you want to participate . Regards

Thank you for reading and commenting. Until next time, friends

My in laws have a White Yaris, much like this one. It is manual, and it is rather small for someone like me. If I got around a corner with too much enthusiasm, or hit a bump that I am not prepared for, the side of my skull will smash into the door. Also, when driving it, I may as well sit in the rear seat, because my legs are far too long.
They are quite happy with the car, only not; with having to replace the fuel pump on a regular basis - because where they live, fuel is of rather poor quality.
So, have you sold the blue Yaris to your brother? What is your next automotive locomotive?
How tall are you? You must be very tall to not fit well in a small car. I am small, I am one meter and 59 centimeters tall. That's why I'm a flea. Now it's my brother-in-law who has the car and no, I don't plan to buy another car. Not only because I don't feel like driving, but also because the current economic situation in my country prevents me from doing so. Greetings and thanks for your comment, my friend
About 187cm. You're about the same height as my wife and in laws. They fit fine in The Yaris!

Haha Nancy, I think we have guardian angels watching over us when we're learning to drive! I can just picture your brother shouting in fear 🤭 and you enduring your father's wrath about 'Nancy's free car hire services'😂
Awe the blue Yaris is a beauty, sorry you let her go!
I was not born to drive! If I drive, I don't enjoy the scenery. hahaha. Over time, I have come to believe that selling my car was an excellent decision, especially because getting gas in Venezuela can be an “odyssey”. I send you a hug, my friend
What's a relief to some is a pain to others. I'll feel pain if I had a car and end up selling.
It's stressful when family teaches us something, sometimes it's easier to learn from a stranger.
I agree with you: my father had no patience and we always ended up arguing, so those classes were torture. Thanks for your comment
You're welcome.

Thank you very much for your support!
And then called her Yaris. so you never named your car? Am so happy it was blue though... I thought you might have had a yellow.
Speaking of blue, Rangers are playing in Europe tonight, the season has started already!
A big blue hug Nancy and hope you are having a great week.
Then you have to watch the game! And flirt to win. In Venezuela, there were no yellow toyotas and according to them you had to buy toyotas because they were better cars! Then I had the opportunity to buy an orange Twingo, but I gave up, thank the gods. I hope your team wins, Ed. A blue hug.
Such a funny and interesting memories of your car😁. At least you know how to drive unlike me. I cannot even ride a bicycle.😁
I don't know how to ride a bike either! I have no balance. hahaha. I used to think I was the only one who didn't know how to ride bikes, but I've seen that there are a lot of people who are just like us, amiga. So there's no need to be sorry!!! Greetings
Those are such good cars! I had one as a rental once in St. Thomas and got pretty attached to it. St. Thomas is a volcanic island so there are some incredibly steep hills and narrow roads. The little Yaris handled it as swiftly as a mule.
still planning to have one, or would you stick to riding taxis?
