She did do that, get me cooking, a small miracle!
Well, I now know how to make the bread, and it was very enjoyable except for the last ten minutes. After all of that prep I didn't want it to turn out like most things I cook.
I had my face pressed against the glass door of the oven, watching it like an eagle.
That was one thing I forgot to mention. At the top of the recipe it says pumpkin bread. The real cook said that the recipe would be the same for either bread.
Once you have a good basic recipe I would think you could add a variety of things for variety.
Congrats on tackling something new, always helps knowing another can cook when necessary... (not in my home)
Without the recipe, I'd be lost. @farm-mom cooks many of our meals with no recipe, constantly tasting as she goes. Many times I'll look in the frig and think there is nothing out for dinner, and the next thing you know she has whipped up a wonderful meal.
Yesterday I helped make stuffed mushrooms and a pot of chicken soup with lots of our homegrown veggies.
Starting to enjoy this new gig.
Love a good chicken soup with fresh veggies in the cooler months, also beef soup meat with marrow!
Sounds like you starting to assist in preparation, exactly where one learns !LOLZ

All that time and nothing to chauffeur it.
