I did not even know that this is possible. Basically a wild bird became your friend. You are very fortunate. I thought that they avoid people. But of course urbanization is doing its thing, and crows are very intelligent.

And I mostly cross the river into Vancouver because Portland has been so wild and crazy.

He is the only one as of yet, but I do have a couple of other crow friends that will swoop me and tap my head or my shoulder as they pass.
What do they tap you with? If it's a beak, ouch!
