The eyes which caught my eye (SMAP# 36 )

in Feathered Friends3 years ago

Hello everyone .... due to the busy work schedules i was not able to participate in the 35th round of show me a photo contest. But for this round i have some amazing pics which fully justifies this week's theme .

For this round i choose the close up pic of a rooster .

This is my neighbor's rooster and this one always visits our backyard searching for treats . So it was not quite tough for me to get a close up pic of this fella . . His eyes are so catchy and animated .

Next i thought this little fella's little eyes are worth a try in this round . I found it very attractive . Lotens sun bird which is also known by the name long billed sun bird or maroon breasted sun bird is so cute and i am lucky that these birds are found in my locality. These little ones are endemic to India and Sri Lanka .

Last but not least i thought of sharing about this bird which is known for its eyes . How can i not include this one when the topic itself is about bird eyes . The Indian white eye or the oriental white eye is a small bird in the white eye family and usually they forage in small groups . They make this cute little sounds which is so adorable.

THANK YOU
