Yesterday was a very successful day in terms of bird spotting. I was able to see so many different species and watch a lot of interesting birds again, but in terms of photography I couldn't really get very close to some birds. Yes of course some pictures I managed to get close like the song-thrush that we found or some ducks and geese, but the interstingt birds like these White Tailed Eagles are always so far away. :-( But at least I cought them sitting on the tree on the other side of the river. In the middle of an "Island" so it wasn't even possobile to get closer to them. I am happy that I saw them once again. Next Time I hope I can see them hunting on the open water there a little closer but this must be a big luck! But with a lot of patience I might be able to do it.
I also managed to take some pictures and videos of several other birds this saturday and I will show them to you soon.

I'm glad you got to see them :) Maybe it would be worth investing in a little inflatable raft?

Yes but not for this spot, Since it is a nature reserve it is not allowed to do rafting there. There are only a few fishermen that have a special permit and the water fire brigade are allowed to raft there. maybe on a different spot outside of the nature reserve it would be possible. But is better like that. Otherwise they would probably be bothered too much and then stop breeding anyway.
That makes sense :) I'm glad they're protected.
