Starling feeding its chicks

Hello!

These are pictures from my photo archive. I took these in May two years ago. I was attracted by the sound of chicks squeaking. On a tree I saw a birdhouse. Oh yes, there were starlings living in the birdhouses. At the time, their chicks had already hatched from their eggs and were constantly demanding food. The parent starlings relentlessly carried food to them.

This is apparently a mother starling arriving with a beak full of insects. Seeing a human among the trees, the bird was hesitant to fly immediately to the nest. The bird sat on a branch nearby for some time. The bird realized that I was not a danger, flew over to the perch of the birdhouse.

After shoving food in the nestling's beak, it flew away quickly. It seemed to me that both the male and female flew in to feed their chicks.
And so several times.

The chick stuck its head out of the birdhouse, squeaking and opening its beak. The chick was looking for its parents.

A few minutes later, the daddy starling arrives.

Enjoy!
