Hoy publico despues de mucho tiempo porque me gustaría hacer una reflexión sobre lo peligroso que son los vidrios en zonas naturales y que causan la muerte de muchas muchas aves ya que ellas no pueden distinguir las sombras de los vidrios.
Acabo de regresar de trabajar en un aeropuerto nuevo que esta en medio de una selva, si, asi como lo escucharon, esta en medio de la selva no hay casas , solo un aeropuerto enmedio, así que las aves les ha costado mucho adaptarse a que su nuevo hogar lo están invadiendo y les ha costado con la muerte.

Se que es muy triste saberlo pero solo les pido que estén atentos a sus vidrios y les pongan protección, figurillas pegadas para que las aves sepan que es un vidrio y no choquen.

Nosotros como biólogos tenemos que cuidar a las aves que no vayan a chocar con un avión o que esten en la pista para que las turbinas no las maten, así que estamos con constante trabajo todo el días, y es muy triste que nos reportan varias muertes por el choque de aves en los vidrios de la terminal ya que toda la terminal esta hecha de vidrios y las sobras hacen que se vean como que aun es selva.

We as biologists have to take care of the birds that they are not going to collide with a plane or that they are on the runway so that the turbines do not kill them, so we are constantly working all day, and it is very sad that we report several deaths due to the collision of birds on the windows of the terminal since the entire terminal is made of glass and the leftovers make it look like it is still a jungle.
It reminds me how in our local airport the windows are covered with stickers to prevent birds hitting on them.
