My affectionate greetings to all the friends and lovers of birds of this Feathered Friends community.
I feel very happy today to be able to participate in Show Me A Photo Contest Round 211 with a free theme proposed by our dear friend @nelinoeva.
It had been a long time since I had participated in this contest. I'm a bird lover, I like them a lot, but it's very difficult for me to take photos with my cell phone. I'm always on the lookout for bird sounds and try to photograph them, but I can't take good photos, because birds are faster than me.
This time it was easy for me because they were peacocks, they did not fly away, haha, I took the photos very happy to be able to participate in this contest that I like so much.
I was visiting the Hotel Nacional de Cuba in Havana and in the gardens that are on the terrace there is a group of peacocks, females and males, who walk around the garden with great confidence because they know that they are cared for and loved by everyone.
These birds are very showy, the males are very beautiful for their large tail of bright colors that they display to attract females. I was not lucky enough to see them in all their glory.
I was watching them for a while and I realized that they usually receive food from someone in a cafeteria that was closed at the time. First I saw a female prowling around as if waiting for someone or something.
Then I saw how a beautiful male specimen was walking very fast towards the cafeteria, he stopped in front of the counter, but when he saw no one he continued to the door that was kept closed, he only needed to touch with his beak haha.
Apparently he felt some sound that was familiar to him, for my part I did not hear anything, he remained waiting for a while, but I could not continue waiting to see the outcome, here I show you the photos.
Open the door, please!!!
This last photo is my favorite for the contest because I find it funny and it is precisely something unusual and curious.
I hope you liked this encounter with the peacocks, I enjoyed it a lot since I took the photos and when making this post too.
See you soon!
VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL
Pavos reales curiosos

Hey @mayramalu you are welcome.
Thanks for using @worldmappin 😘
They are so beautiful, I am amazed.
