The finch that limped

in Feathered Friends11 months ago

Good weather, which contributes to the desire to go to the nearest forest and look at the birds. Today I got lucky. Not reaching the forest at the edge I saw a chaffinch sitting on the ground.

I slowly began to approach him. But unfortunately, as soon as I approached him, he began to slowly move away. I noticed that the finch did not limp much on one paw.

Don't know . Perhaps he injured his paw or it hurt him. He didn't limp much, but it was noticeable. There was a lot of fluff from poplars on the ground. He was looking for something on the ground, scattering fluffs.

Sometimes he would stop and start humming his trills. Usually finches sing while sitting on the branches of a tree. It is very rare to see them singing on the ground.

!

The finch was moving very slowly. So I also tried to move slowly. Gradually he got used to me and was no longer in a hurry to run away. Apparently it was not very comfortable for him to walk.

Sometimes he stopped and tucked one paw up and stood like that for a while. I tried not to disturb him at this time. So he didn't get much rest. I did not annoy him with my presence and slowly moved on.

Обратите внимание, что зяблик не прыгает как ему и положено, а шагает переставляя лапы. Забавный.
