Saludos a todos los amantes de los videojuegos y la tecnología que comparten contenido en la comunidad Geek Zone. Una de mis pasiones son los videojuegos retro y es de lo que más comparto por aqui y en esta publicación les traigo un video tour que seguro van a disfrutar.
Hace un tiempo atrás compartí una publicación donde muestro con fotos el proceso en el que construí mi máquina de virtual pinball, una aventura que vino luego de terminar mi máquina de Arcade. Dicho proceso fue más una aventura muy gratificante, y la previa experiencia con el Arcade me dio mucha seguridad para hacer esta máquina de la cual estoy muy orgulloso.
Para los que quieran mirar las fotos y ver como fue el proceso de construcción les dejo la publicación. Aquí describo como fue todo y dejo unos tips también.
En esta publicación me complace compartir en video la máquina en acción, funcionando como debe ser.
Aquí se puede apreciar el menú principal que proviene del Front End, dicho menú se compone por las mesas instaladas y videos que presentan las mesas mientras vas pasando para elegir que quieres jugar.
Todos los elementos que se observan en dicho menú fueron instalados uno a uno en el proceso inicial de configuración de software.
Justo cuando pense que habia terminado este proyecto debo confesar que las mesas que verán en el video si son una buena cantidad, pero siempre se pueden agregar mas mesas, por lo tanto he desarrollado una nueva afición, y es que todo empezó sin darme cuenta, estaba viendo una película relacionada con el mundo del pinball. “Tommy by the who” y “Pinball The Man Who Saved The Game”, y mientras disfrutaba de dichas películas me fije en las máquinas de arcade, por la ambientación son máquinas vintage, del 60 o 70, pero no me pude contener, le di pausa cada vez que veía una máquina de pinball para poder identificarlas. Menos mal que las máquinas de pinball tienen a tener el nombre de la mesa bien grande en el cartel frontal llamado Backglass.
Total que al identificarlas me fui a la comunidad y a foros de virtual pinball y encontré los archivos de las emulaciones de dichas mesas, y ahora me gusta mucho poder ver el pinball electromecanico en la película pero también tener la posibilidad de jugarlo, es como ser coleccionista. Recientemente estaba viendo Rocky 3 y “The thing”, y sucedió lo mismo, encontre la mesa de pinball de Rocky y una mesa que se llama Heat Wave que tenían en el lobby de la pelicula de terror de Jhon Carpenter y me complace mucho poder coleccionar estas mesas de pinball y tenerlas en mi maquina.
Gracias a esta nueva fiebre he desarrollado el gusto por las mesas “Vintage” que a pesar de parecer simples son divertidas y muy difíciles, pero no solo eso, es que el arte que tienen es muy nostálgico y original de su época cosa que me parece estupendo, es como conservar los sacapuntas de radiecito que uno tenía en el colegio de niño.
Aparte de esto que les cuento y volviendo al resumen del video, hago un pequeño gameplay como demostración para que vean como funcionan las emulaciones de las mesas, y aquí debo decir que se juega muy bien, por su puesto mientras más potente la computadora y la tarjeta grafica mejor, la computadora que tengo es bastante modesta y básica según los requerimientos del software pero cumple bien, la emulación de las propiedades físicas es excelente.
Dentro del apartado de mesas de pinball virtual tengo mesas modernas que abarcan de 1980 al 2000, y también tengo un submenú donde tengo mesas estilo Vintage que van de 1930 a 1970.
Pero lo que más me gusta de esta máquina es que no solo funciona como una máquina de juegos sino que también se puede usar para escuchar musica y aqui podran ver el modo jukebox o rockola y otras mesas donde yo mismo le instale carpetas de musica por generos y asi poder usarla en reuniones o alguna fiesta personal en casa.

Some time ago I shared a post where I show with pictures the process in which I built my virtual pinball machine, an adventure that came after finishing my Arcade machine. This process was a very rewarding adventure, and the previous experience with the Arcade gave me a lot of confidence to make this machine of which I am very proud.
For those who want to look at the pictures and see how was the construction process I leave the publication. Here I describe how everything went and leave some tips as well.
In this post I am pleased to share a video of the machine in action, working as it should.
Here you can see the main menu that comes from the Front End, this menu consists of the installed tables and videos that present the tables as you go through to choose what you want to play.
All the elements that you can see in this menu were installed one by one in the initial software configuration process.Just when I thought I had finished this project I must confess that the tables you will see in the video are a good amount, but you can always add more tables, so I have developed a new hobby, and it all started without realizing it, I was watching a movie related to the world of pinball. "Tommy by the who" and "Pinball The Man Who Saved The Game", and while I was enjoying those movies I noticed the arcade machines, by the setting they are vintage machines, from the 60's or 70's, but I could not contain myself, I gave pause every time I saw a pinball machine to be able to identify them. Fortunately, pinball machines have to have the name of the table on the front sign called Backglass.
So when I identified them I went to the community and virtual pinball forums and found the files of the emulations of these tables, and now I really like to see the electromechanical pinball in the movie but also have the ability to play it, it's like being a collector. Recently I was watching Rocky 3 and "The thing", and the same thing happened, I found the pinball table of Rocky and a table called Heat Wave that they had in the lobby of the horror movie of John Carpenter and I am very pleased to be able to collect these pinball tables and have them in my machine.Thanks to this new fever I have developed a taste for "Vintage" tables that despite looking simple are fun and very difficult, but not only that, is that the art they have is very nostalgic and original of its time which I think is great, is like keeping the plastic radio pencil sharpeners that one had at school as a child.
Apart from this I tell you and returning to the summary of the video, I make a small gameplay as a demonstration so you can see how the emulations of the tables work, and here I must say that it plays very well, of course the more powerful the computer and graphics card the better, the computer I have is quite modest and basic according to the requirements of the software but complies well, the emulation of the physical properties is excellent.
Within the virtual pinball tables section I have modern tables ranging from 1980 to 2000, and I also have a submenu where I have Vintage style tables ranging from 1930 to 1970.
But what I like most about this machine is that it not only works as a gaming machine but can also be used to listen to music and here you can see the jukebox mode or jukebox and other tables where I myself installed music folders by genre and so I can use it in meetings or any personal party at home.

Ta bueno el dato, está bien que por salir de algún apuro por espacio o falta de uso se pueda vender pero está máquina la hice con todo el cariño personalizada por mí y para mí. De hecho la comunidad de desarrolladores del software son amantes del pinball y el software es totalmente gratis, así queo tar un negocio con esto es poco ético con la comunidad, saludos.
Que belleza realizar esta arcade con las cosas actuales te quedo muy encantador podrías ser contratado por una buena empresa desarrolladora de equipos de volver al pasado jejejej
Wow... Sería mi trabajo de ensueño. Recientemente vi una película llamada "Pinball, the man who saved the game". Es genial y me dio más interés en la historia detrás de la industria pinball del pasado. Gracias por tu comentario.
