Sumeru is Here - Irminsul Tree - Genshin Impact |EN/ES|

At last, the final element of the puzzle and its domains are finally here! Not only we players have been intrigued about the dendro element for TWO YEARS, but we have waited for the other main regions of Teyvat to be up for exploration and experience their stories. The fact that Genshin Impact considered a plant-based element as part of its puzzle caught my attention greatly (plant Pokémon trainer here). So, at the dawn of starting a third year of this great game it is time Sumeru "opens itself to those of noble hearts."

Sumeru is the land of the Dendro archon, the land of wisdom, and the representation of the duality between jungle and desert. It is inspired in the middle east region including India, so most themes, music, art, and scenery will be inspired by the real cultures of those places. I have to say it first, I LOVE the music of Sumeru. Those tones remind me of the Little Princes' soundtrack music with a sense of magic yet soft and relaxing sometimes while transmitting excitement and depth during others.

No solo los jugadores hemos estado intrigados por el elemento dendro durante DOS AÑOS, sino que hemos esperado a que las otras regiones principales de Teyvat estén listas para explorar y experimentar sus historias. Me llamó mucho la atención el hecho de que Genshin Impact considerara un elemento basado en plantas como parte de su rompecabezas (entrenador de plantas Pokémon aquí). There are many ways to approach this region, but if we want to do it right we must activate the new Teleport on the Chasm near its frontier with Sumeru. From there, we will be in front of a cave that lead straight into Dendro territory. It is also convenient because it is near our first statue of the seven archons in which we can absorb dendro element for our Traveler, and we can unlock the first piece of this map.

Hay muchas formas de acercarnos a esta región, pero si queremos hacerlo bien debemos activar el nuevo Teletransporte en el Abismo cerca de su frontera con Sumeru. A partir de ahí, estaremos frente a una cueva que conduce directamente al territorio de Dendro. También es conveniente porque está cerca de nuestra primera estatua de los siete arcontes en la que podemos absorber elemento dendro para nuestro Viajero, y podemos desbloquear la primera pieza de este mapa.

I have to say that Lumine with dendro has been really fun to use, but I'll cover this new element's usage in another post. Let me just say that I prefer lumine to Collei even though the Later has such a intricate past and drama.

Our first sign of life is a scholar who completely ignores us. After we follow her, we find her cave and she is sitting next to an incense burner. The closer we get the weirder Lumine feels. She soon lose consciousness only to appear in some dreamy place in which she finds a tree pillar made of light.

Nuestro primer signo de vida es un erudito que nos ignora por completo. Después de seguirla, encontramos su cueva y ella está sentada junto a un quemador de incienso. Cuanto más nos acercamos, más extraño se siente Lumine. Pronto pierde el conocimiento solo para aparecer en un lugar de ensueño en el que encuentra un pilar de árbol hecho de luz.

That is Irminsul, the tree which all ley lines and domains are connected. It is the tree of life, and actually the word comes from an old Germanic pagan word meaning Tree pillar. It is another way to call Yggdrasil or the tree of life in ancient cultures. To deploy the source of the ley line is fascinating in terms of this game's lore and storyline; we are getting answers piece by piece. Lumine manages to approach the tree and the only words she gets are "World... forget me..."

Ese es Irminsul, el árbol al que están conectados todos los dominios y líneas ley. Es el árbol de la vida, y en realidad la palabra proviene de una antigua palabra pagana germánica que significa árbol pilar. Es otra forma de llamar a Yggdrasil o el árbol de la vida en las culturas antiguas. Desplegar la fuente de la línea ley es fascinante en términos de la tradición y la historia de este juego; Estamos obteniendo respuestas pieza por pieza. Shortly after, lumine opens her eyes to our emergency food, Paimon, and our very first dendro user, Collei. almost immediately, Tighnari enters the scene. We are in the rangers' village. The incense at that cave make us connect with Irminsul so our hallucination was a vision of the tree. This is the start of our adventure. Collei and Tighnari will help us make our first steps into the world of Sumeru.

Poco después, lumine abre los ojos a nuestra comida de emergencia, Paimon, y a nuestro primer usuario de dendro, Collei. casi de inmediato, Tighnari entra en escena. There are a bunch of new mechanics and gadgets we can use to explore this rainforest. Some of the elements even react different by applying hydro or electro. It is definitely a step forward from the mechanics included in Inazuma exploration. This one is a four petal flower we can throw a vine to and move fast.

Hay un montón de nuevas mecánicas y dispositivos que podemos usar para explorar esta selva tropical. Algunos de los elementos incluso reaccionan diferente aplicando hidro o electro. Definitivamente es un paso adelante de las mecánicas incluidas en la exploración de Inazuma. Esta es una flor de cuatro pétalos a la que podemos arrojar una liana y movernos rápido.

Our first domain was just so appealing to the eye. It felt like a dream world. The puzzles share the same dynamics in essence to previous ones, but all reinvented with plantt-related mechanisms. To play something like this accompanied with the lovely music of this version and region plus the new element? it is a great reinvention of the game which might bring old players back for sure.

The amount of content is just overloading us with so much to do. I haven't even unlocked the domains or bosses. I am still activating the Archon quest and the current event. This is tons of fun for a long time, yet I have to rush before classes start again lol. Gandhara village is the only civilization I have reached, but soon I'll go to Port Ormos, and Sumeru city! If only I had abundant primogems... Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying Sumeru as much as I do, and soon I'll bring more of my adventures in this great addition to the game.

Nuestro primer dominio era tan atractivo a la vista. Se sentía como un mundo de ensueño. Los rompecabezas comparten la misma dinámica en esencia que los anteriores, pero todos reinventados con mecanismos relacionados con las plantas. ¿Tocar algo como esto acompañado de la hermosa música de esta versión y región más el nuevo elemento? es una gran reinvención del juego que seguramente traerá de vuelta a los viejos jugadores.

La cantidad de contenido nos está sobrecargando con mucho que hacer. Ni siquiera he desbloqueado los dominios o los jefes. Todavía estoy activando la misión Archon y el evento actual. Esto es muy divertido durante mucho tiempo, pero tengo que apresurarme antes de que las clases comiencen de nuevo jajaja. El pueblo de Gandhara es la única civilización a la que he llegado, ¡pero pronto iré a Port Ormos y a la ciudad de Sumeru! Si tan solo tuviera abundantes protogemas...
