On this occasion, the theme is what a series or film about a video game would be like. After considering this, in my case, I would like to create a live-action series about the incredible Bioshock saga. I would primarily create a series for the opportunity to show the entire story in the most detailed and calm manner possible, an aspect that is often more complicated in movies due to time constraints, and many times several aspects of the story are left out.

There is one aspect that I would like to add to the Bioshock series, which would be purely a personal decision to tell the story in a similar way to how I played the video games. This aspect is to narrate the events of Bioshock Infinite in the first season and then begin with the two different stories of Rapture. I have always thought that Bioshock Infinite is simply a masterpiece, and although it is the third installment of the franchise, it has a unique connection to the events of Rapture and, even more so, the events of its DLC, which would obviously appear in the first seasons of its live action, making the perfect prelude to the story of the iconic submerged city.
As for the main actors, I am clear on one thing, and that is that I would look for them to be as similar as possible to the characters in the video game. I understand that some people tend to like changes in the characters, but in my case, the more identical they are to the video game character, the better. For the actress playing Elizabeth, after thinking about it a bit, I think I would choose Zooey Deschanel. Her face has quite a few similarities to the designs of Elizabeth, and from the series I saw of this actress in my youth, I remember that she used to be quite funny and quickly generate empathy, a crucial aspect for Elizabeth, both to generate that almost instant empathy with the viewer and to be able to create moments of joy and peace in the midst of the tragic and dangerous adventure.

Cada vez las temáticas de Player Hive están mas divertidas, pero al mismo tiempo nos presentan situaciones mas extensas para dejar volar nuestra creatividad, para esta ocasión la temática es como seria una serie o película sobre un videojuego y luego de pensar, en mi caso me gustaría crear una serie Live Action sobre la increíble saga de Bioshock, principalmente haría una serie por la oportunidad de poder mostrar de la forma más detallada y calmada posible toda la historia, aspecto que en las películas por el tiempo limitado suele ser mas complicado y muchas veces suelen dejar varios aspectos de la historia por fuera.

Hay un aspecto que me gustaría agregar a la serie de Bioshock y que sería netamente una decisión personal para contar la historia de una forma similar a como jugué los videojuegos, este aspecto es narrar en la primera temporada los sucesos de Bioshock Infinite y luego si comenzar con las dos historias diferentes de Rapture. Siempre he pensando que Bioshock Infinite es simplemente una obra maestra y aunque se trata de la tercera entrega de la franquicia tiene una conexión única con los sucesos de Rapture y más los sucesos de su DLC que evidentemente saldrían en las primeras temporadas de su Live Action, hacen el preámbulo perfecto a la historia de la icónica ciudad sumergida.
En cuanto a los actores principales si tengo una sola cosa clara y es que buscaría que fueran los mas parecidos posibles a los personajes del videojuego, entiendo que algunas personas les suelen gustar cambios en los personajes, pero en mi caso entre más idénticos sean al personaje de videojuego es mucho mejor, para la actriz de Elizabeth luego de pensar un poco creo que escogería a Zooey Deschanel, su rostro tiene bastante similitudes con los diseños de Elizabeth, y de las series que vi de esta actriz en mi juventud recuerdo que solía ser bastante divertida y genera empatía rápido, un aspecto crucial para Elizabeth tanto generar esa empatía casi instantánea con el espectador como ser capaz de crear momentos de alegría y paz en medio de la trágica y peligrosa aventura.

En cuanto al actor para el personaje de Booker Dewitt sería bastante más complicado por el simple motivo que Booker siendo el protagonista de una aventura en primera personaje no solemos apreciar como es el personaje en la mayoría del tiempo y muy probablemente solo recordemos su imagen en la portada de la aventura y poco más, pero de igual manera creo que un actor perfecto para este personaje seria Hugh Jackman por dos motivos, el primer es que prácticamente cualquier papel que haga Hugh Jackman es simplemente épico y el segundo motivo es que como hemos podido apreciar en sus ultimas actuaciones de Wolverine ya la edad se le nota bastante, pero ahora puede tener ese aspecto de tipo rudo, capaz de derrotar prácticamente a todos pero al mismo tiempo ese aspecto envejecido y golpeado por el tiempo así como en el personaje de Booker, además que la relación de Booker Con Elizabeth tiene una similitud con la de Wolverine con X23 en la película de Logan, al principio puede darle dolores de cabeza pero al final crea ese sentimiento paternal dispuesto a sacrificar su vida por ella.

Considerando como es la historia de Bioshock Infinite creo que un directo prefecto seria Christopher Nolan, la situación tanto política como social en Columbia por algún motivo me recuerda mucho a Gotham y un estilo similar a la película del Caballero De La Noche seria simplemente épico, además que la historia combina de igual manera momentos de anarquía, combates y escenas de acción, con momento dramáticos, tristes y realmente sentimentales para el espectador. El resultado de Christopher Nolan seria simplemente épico narrando todos los sucesos de Columbia, desde la ciudad flotante prácticamente celestial y perfecta, hasta su eventual caída y destrucción.

Como Bioshock Infinite tiene tanto la historia principal como su DLC y ambas son historias muy emotivas e interesantes, haría una temporada por cada una para poder narrar de la mejor manera cada aspecto, siendo lo mas detallado y fiel a la historia del videojuego, aunque como único agregado adicional de la serie, me gustaría agregar al menos un capitulo dedicado a la vida de Elizabeth y como fueron todos esos años trágicos mientras crecía encerrada en la torre, en el videojuego se presenta de una forma fugas y siendo un personaje tan especial y empático Elizabeth siento que fue un desperdicio no contar mas detalladamente como fueron todos eso años antes de que llegara Booker a salvarla y como le toco aprender a vivir prácticamente siempre sola. Una serie que sin dudas me vería cada capitulo varias veces y en donde también haría como otras series de contar con hasta mas de 1 hora de duración por capitulo.

Esa actriz es bellísima, sería 100% accurate si hicieran un live de Bioshito con esa actriz. Por ejemplo, con TLOU eligieron a alguien muy diferente, lo hace genial, pero honestamente me hubiese gustado tener a una actriz mucho más parecida. Por ejemplo, Ellen Page(Ahora Elliot Page) hubiese sido genial en esa serie. Ni se hable de Hughsito, todo lo que toca es oro.

exacto, la paso bastante difícil hasta que uno la rescata en Infinite, en parte gracias a su pasado uno logra empatizar tanto con ella aunque al final se adapta super bien a su habilidad y toma el control de su futuro de forma super épica. hey deberías probar este videojuego seguro que te gustara mucho :D
This is one of the games that I actually finished and the story blew me away. The shooting gameplay at times felt like an obligation though and I always hoped they were going to make a series out of this.
It would be incredible if they made a series or even a movie. The story is fantastic and there are several aspects that could have been exploited even more to develop the story further :D
