It's coming together nicely! - Blender3D stuffs

in Blenderlast year

another 3 hours of modelling!

Today, I finished off all of it's teeth so now it has a upper and lower jaw and teeth.

I opted to reduce the amount of teeth from my previous post to hopefully save on some polys and also because it looks fine with less teeth.

I also sculpted the main body details to a degree which took the most time to be fair and I added some chest floof which isn't final atm.

I'm quickly coming up to the point where I'll have to start learning some new tricks to do certain things. For instance I need to look up how to do local remeshing while sculpting as normally it'll do the whole mesh but that would destroy any detail I've added and also the mouth.

I also may make a new collection to start putting together some finalized meshes. For instance I want to merge the whole mouth area and clean it up and have it stashed away to add more to later, it would also give me something semi finished to practice rigging and animation on.

That may be one of the next things I do just to have a change of pace as the head is pretty much done minus work required on the ears and hair.

I really want to try out animating the eyes to blink and the various viseme states for talking in VRChat and such.

Good progress though for a combined total of 12 odd hours of work.
