Saludos querida comunidad de #Family&Friends, es un gusto poder publicar por primera vez aquí y compartir con ustedes anécdotas hermosas de familia y amigos. Y, es que precisamente hace unos días se fueron unos primos muy queridos a buscar un futuro mejor, algo que me alegró mucho, pero a su vez me dejó con un sentimiento de nostalgia, casi tan abismal como cuando alguien muere.
Greetings dear #Family&Friends community, it is a pleasure to be able to post here for the first time and share with you beautiful anecdotes of family and friends. And, it is that precisely a few days ago some very dear cousins left to look for a better future, something that made me very happy, but in turn left me with a feeling of nostalgia, almost as abysmal as when someone dies.
Había experimentado esta nostalgia de ver como partían amigos, buscando nuevos horizontes, para mejorar su calidad de vida. Sin embargo, no había experimentado tanta nostalgia como la que pude sentir cuando se fueron mis primos, en especial mi prima Francis, ya que era una persona con la que siempre había compartido mucho, desde que somos niñas hemos sido muy unidas.
He had experienced this nostalgia of seeing how friends left, looking for new horizons, to improve their quality of life. However, I had not experienced as much nostalgia as the one I could feel when my cousins left, especially my cousin Francis, since she was a person with whom I had always shared a lot, since we were little girls we have been very close.

Cuando éramos pequeñas, solíamos pasar mucho tiempo juntas cuando viajaba al pueblo de donde es ella. Ya de adultas compartimos muy bonitos momentos, que, si bien no tengo fotos de tan maravillosas épocas, tengo vivos los recuerdos. En especial de las veces que ella en muchas oportunidades me ayudó con ropa y dinero para continuar en la universidad, ya que en Venezuela se atravesó por una fuerte crisis hace 7 años; puedo decir que se portó como una verdadera amiga incondicional. Recuerdo cuando me cambió de estilo. Tengo el cabello crespo y siempre había querido tenerlo liso, así que ella me hizo un tratamiento que me fascinó.
When we were little, we used to spend a lot of time together when I traveled to the town where she is from. As adults we share very beautiful moments, and although I don't have photos of such wonderful moments, the memories are alive. Especially when she helped me on many occasions with clothes and money to continue at the university, since in Venezuela she went through a severe crisis 7 years ago; I can say that she behaved like a true unconditional friend. I remember when she changed my style, I have frizzy hair and she had always wanted to have it straight, so she gave me a treatment that fascinated me.

El último día que nos vimos para despedirnos se me vinieron muchos recuerdos a la mente, días que compartimos juntas. Y es que cuando una persona se marcha tan lejos una parte de ti se va con ella. Se van vivencia, emociones…

[El último día juntos / the last day together 😥]Cuando alguien se marcha sabes que estará bien, le deseas la mejor suerte del mundo, pero como muchos que se marcharon sabes que pasará mucho tiempo para volvértelo a encontrar y ese sentimiento es el que nos embarga de turbias emociones😥.
Espero que siempre me pueda tener presente, así como yo lo haré. Y sinceramente deseo que a todos los que parten para conseguir un mejor futuro pueda irles de maravilla y conseguir personas excepcionales 🌻.
When someone leaves you know that they will be fine, you wish them the best luck in the world, but like many who left you know that it will take a long time to find them again and that feeling is what fills us with cloudy emotions 😥.
I hope you can always keep me in mind, just as I will. And I sincerely wish that all those who leave to achieve a better future can do wonderfully and get exceptional people 🌻.
Es duro ver partir a nuestros seres queridos a otros países aunque sepamos que se van en busca de un futuro mejor. Espero que pronto puedas volver a ver a tu prima.

Reading through your beautiful piece, all I could remember was December 10th 2022 when my elder sister left Nigeria to Malta, after she got a job there. It was such a wonderful and teary moment for the family. However, it was for the best because it has made us better financially as compared to how we were before. I and other members of my family also look forward to moving out to different countries.
All this is in search of a better life for our future. Sometimes it lead to loss of relationships... but we keep moving. All things work out for good.
