My Dorothea: A peaceful getaway

We had encountered terrible weeks where we were unable to unwind and enjoy ourselves as a group of friends. I say we deserve this little party, as a treat for the difficult and exhausting weeks we encountered. We decided to meet up with our friends who hadn't been getting along for a few weeks and unwind at a public beach. We chitchat and gossip while relaxing. We shared laughter's and ideas about how's our life going on. The waves of the sea and the wind make us more relaxed and calm. We missed this type of getaway because the last time we went to the beach, it was in summer. For food and drinks, one of our friends placed an order for S&R pizza. She wants to treat us because she got a job.

Since this is the most remarkable day I have ever had, it will be added to my core memories. This type of bonding was not something I had encountered during my high school years. I wasn't the one invited when they wanted to be friends while I was in seventh and eighth grade. They have separate circles of friends, thus they don't want to invite me. I was thrilled and felt special when my group of friends wanted to invite me to any galas when I was in my sophomore year.

Aside from the salty view of the sea, there are a lot of dogs walking around and bugging. These dogs help us to let go of our stress and exhaustion from school, they keep accompanying us until we go home. I can say that these dogs are very friendly towards people because they don't even flinch nor scared if we touch them. Some dogs may feel unsecured if they are surrounded by people. They also played with other dogs in front of our friends and even welcomed some of the waves that crashed into their bodies.

It was my Olympus C-25 digicam that took this image. I like my Digicam since it has a retro-built filter that makes me feel like I'm in the 2000s. I also adore this camera's density because it's compact and light, making it easy to fit in your pockets. I found this camera in my mother's drawer. We have a lot of digicams, but this one doesn't have any issues. Every time I go somewhere, I always have this digicam with me because I want to capture pictures, especially of my buddies in the moment.

We bid our friends farewell at the end of the day, and some of them stayed because they weren't ready to return home. I would miss the idea of getting along with my friends, I hope we can do this again.
