En Venezuela se celebra el segundo domingo del mes de noviembre el día del abrazo en familia, pero debido a que para esa fecha no se pudo realizar, se planificó para la última semana del mes de Enero, de esta forma dar la bienvenida al nuevo año; esta fue una excelente manera de hacerlo, donde se invitó a la pastoral de la escuela de padres de una de las parroquias de mi ciudad, para que compartieran su mensaje, estuvimos reunidos por aproximadamente tres horas, donde además de momentos de oración, reflexión, se realizó animación, bailes y dinámicas.

Se tomó un punto muy importante y es la actualidad de las familias venezolanas, el funcionamiento familiar en tiempos de crisis, y como ve la iglesia católica esta problemática, compartiendo una serie de herramientas para enfrentarlos, el rol de los padres entre otros, se expusieron experiencias personales, donde participamos padres y brigadistas, obteniendo momentos muy emotivos junto a la familia, donde tuvimos la oportunidad de escucharnos y de decir a nuestro núcleo lo que pensamos y que queremos mejorar, este fue uno de los momentos mas emotivos, ya que mi hijo Matthias nos agradeció por ser su familia y también nos pidió que pasáramos mas tiempo en familia, algo que se ve afectado por el tema de los horarios laborales, pero hay que escuchar lo que los hijos piden y realizar cambios para mejorar.

Para romper el hielo primeramente nos presentamos todos los asistentes, luego comenzaron con una serie de dinámicas, donde bailamos y jugamos junto a nuestros pequeños, nos reímos un mundo, hacia mucho tiempo que no reía así jajajajaja. Seguidamente pasamos al plano de reflexión donde nos pusieron a pensar en nuestro rol de padres, para ver si consideramos que estamos haciéndolo bien o ver en que fallamos, el taller estuvo muy interesante, ya que nos invita a vernos por dentro y no a criticar al prójimo, nadie es perfecto y por eso no debemos de juzgar a nadie.

Then we moved on to the plane of reflection where they put us to think about our role as parents, to see if we consider that we are doing well or see where we fail, the workshop was very interesting, as it invites us to see ourselves inside and not to criticize others, no one is perfect and therefore we should not judge anyone.

Los integrantes de cada familia, luego de conversar, bailar y realizar varias dinámicas guiadas por el animador, finalizamos con un fuerte abrazo y muchas emociones, un poco de lagrimas y mas unidos; no solo a nivel personal sino con todos los asistentes, creando una nueva familia, ya que el compromiso con la brigada no es solo enviar a los hijos, sino estar en cada una de las actividades con nuestros hijos, que ellos sientan el apoyo de los padres y cada miembro de su familia, que se sientan especiales y queridos.

The members of each family, after talking, dancing and performing various dynamics guided by the animator, we ended with a big hug and many emotions, a little tears and more united, not only personally but with all attendees, creating a new family, since the commitment to the brigade is not only to send the children, but to be in each of the activities with our children, they feel the support of parents and each member of his family, they feel special and loved.

Para finalizar hicimos una oración y nos comprometimos a seguir con estas actividades que nos ayudan a crecer como padres, por último compartimos un almuerzo, un delicioso arroz chino, ensalada y pan, con una rica malta y un trozo de torta de auyama, todo esto preparado por un grupo de representantes, con colaboración de todos los brigadistas.

Finally we shared a lunch, a delicious Chinese rice, salad and bread, with a delicious malt and a piece of pumpkin cake, all this prepared by a group of representatives, with the collaboration of all the brigade members.

Estoy muy contento de pertenecer a esta gran familia, donde encontré viejas amistades y adopte nuevas, espero que con el tiempo sigan creciendo los lazos entre todos, hasta que nuestros hijos logren sus sueños y posteriormente sean grandes amigos y colegas, los futuros Bomberos de mi ciudad; con esto se despide su amigo de siempre el Drhueso.
