Holiday Well Spent at SEAFRONT BEACH RESORT in Liloan Cebu

Hello Hivers, my name is @eijnuj06, and I am back with another blog. This time, I'm sharing my experience just for today because my friends and I wanted to spend our vacation at the beach and decided to stay at Seafront Beach Resort in Liloan.

August 6 is a traditional holiday in Cebu, celebrating the Cebu Province Charter Day. Despite being a Wednesday, we opted to spend the occasion at a nearby beach in Northern Cebu.

I got up early this morning since I had set an alarm at 4:30 a.m. Because our call time is 5:00 a.m. I prepare my belongings to bring, as well as other utensils. I was the first to arrive at the meeting spot, but I knew my friends would be late because it is already a tradition "A Filipino time." People in the Philippines have a cultural tendency to arrive later than expected.

After a few minutes, my buddies arrived, and we boarded our ride to Liloan Public Market. I don't have a documentary or images of our journey to the market, but we purchased a 3 kilos oyster, 3 kilos pork, 2 kilos fish, and 2 kilos chicken. We continue driving to the resort after purchasing food to cook.

We arrived at our destination, the Seafront Beach Resort, which is located in Barangay Jubay, Liloan, Cebu and is one of the most cheap beach resorts in northern Cebu. The entrance fee is 300 pesos and is included with the cottage rental with four free people, plus an additional 100 pesos for each additional person. The parking is ample and can accommodate even huge groups.

Upon entering the gate, the first thing I notice is the beautiful view of the place. The palm trees along the beach provide shade from the sun, and there are numerous cottages that make the location feel welcome. When we got at our cottage, we went straight to the wash area to thoroughly wash the meats we bought from the market. We then marinated them and moved to the grilling area to cook.

While we waited for the food to cook, we decided to play volleyball because there is a volleyball net along the beach, and we had a great time playing volleyball while our feet were soaked in the sand. Playing volleyball on the beach mixes sports, sunshine, and fun. After we finished playing, we finished cooking all of our food, made sure it was cooked properly, and then ate.

After eating, we decided to go swimming and continue playing volleyball on the beach. The rain begins to fall, but we continue swimming and playing volleyball; we enjoy doing this since it cools the sea and keeps us out of the sun.

Then we move on to the Jamming Session, where we bring a JBL Bluetooth speaker and microphone, have fun singing while sitting in the sand, and enjoy a drink (Red Horse), which makes us feel more alive and joyous. There is something wonderful about going to the beach with friends; the combination of sand, beach, and laughing generates memories that are difficult to forget. The beach provides a setting for socializing with your pals.

NOTE: This is not intended to boast or to express any negativity, but rather to provide honest feedback. I genuinely enjoy the location, even though it lacks white sand. However, I am not fond of the staff; they aren't very accommodating. They even charged us for charging our phones in the cottages, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, they asked for 150 pesos to charge our Bluetooth speaker, which I assumed would be complimentary in the cottage. Additionally, the restroom is not very clean and is poorly maintained.
