Wednesday Walk- It was a Go-Kart Kind of Day!

in Family & Friends2 months ago (edited)

It is the last week of the one-month school holidays so my friends and I are trying to let the children enjoy their friends before school restarts again next Monday.

Last week my eldest went for Laser Battle with his church friends and yesterday, we chose to play this go-kart in a nearby mall.

It is called Top Drift, which the husband spotted it one day when he was having a meal nearby.

On the last off day of the husband for this last week, we decided to go for it with some church friends.

So after my boys' nap, off we went to meet the rest who had started earlier than us.

The price is RM25 for 8 laps and RM16 for 16 laps. I had a budget to adhere by so I chose the 8 laps fpr 2 karts, paying RM50.

Some safety rules to abide here.

The children went to choose their helmets.

Children under 5 have to sit accompanied by an adult so my secondborn just went with his dad whole the firstborn drove alone.

There were some simple instructions on how to operate the karts where it was quickly briefed by my friend's eldest daughter who did such a great job. Even the facilitator there praised her.

Then off they went! Just like Mario Kart hahhaa!

Let's zoom in to see them one by one, in action!

I especially like when they went into the dark zone because their go karts will glow with colours in the dark! So niceeee!

Just look at them go!

My firstborn was a bit apprehensive and uncertain at first so he bumped into the race track barriers but after he got a hang of it, he was good. My friend's son was almost like drifting! Hahahha. It was fun to watch them.

Later, my friend's mom who is my son's friends' grandma also came in to play along , because she recently watched some series on Netflix with her grandchildren on racing. What a sport!

After 8 laps, my friend's children went for more with their grandma. My secondborn went to another kids' heaven that is there for free, so long you have socks to enter - The Ball Pit with a bumper castle!

Look at how he kept junping into the ball pit!

It was a very fun evening and night because after that we had dinner and long chit chats. Good to be spending time with these peeps and my children's peeps too before the school holidays end. Hope these memories together last and be remembered. When I have delivered the baby, maybe I too want to try to play this go-kart one day!
