Way back in 2017, I was a stranger in a place where I saw unfamiliar faces an unfamiliar place, when times that I was at the lowest point of my life there was no one I could lean on since I didn't have any relatives in that place just my own family.

I was gifted enough to know a person who would treat me as her own daughter, a person who would fill my emptiness to feel how mother care was since I really didn't have a mother beside me as I grew up.

Let me introduce you all to the stranger who became my second mother, Maria Theresa, her name was beautiful her heart was, she is the one who filled my longing for a mother's love and today we are celebrating his birthday.

We decided to celebrate her birthday in one of the fine dining restaurants in Naga Cebu called Parola, Parola was located in the Proper City of Naga Cebu, it was by the sea,

The ambience of the place was so aesthetic, the band serenaded you with romantic music the singer really had the best taste playlist and the customer service was one hundred per cent recommended that he assist you with a beautiful smile, also the food was budget-friendly.

But before we travelled to Parola we planned that we should prank her because she had been thinking lately that she also had a cake and the staff would sing her a birthday song the way she had seen it on Facebook.

Her children and I go to the venue in parted ways so that we can buy a birthday cake for her and give it to the staff secretly.

When everyone arrived at the restaurant we immediately ordered food, We just ordered Crispy pata, Sinagang na baboy (pork sour soup), some buttered shrimp, chicken tinola for my baby and a Pancit for the long life old beliefs then soda for our drinks.

As we waited for our order we just took photos of the restaurant

Also, the kids request to take a photo of them.

I also took photos together with my kids, that night Chloe was so energetic I think my daughter really stock so much energy, and my son is so opposite of her sister because he was so quiet at shy at that moment but gladly I was able to get a nice photo wiem.

After 20 minutes our food was slowly delivered, and after the food had been delivered we took a family photo as a remembrance then we ate.

After a minute the staff is ready to sing a happy birthday for those people celebrating their birthday in parola.

The funny thing is when it was our turn the staff asked us where is out cake since the one that we had given the cake to was now off duty, We were shocked at that moment since it was a surprise, so we gave a sign to the staff and keep quiet thankfully that the birthday girl was so busy enjoying her food.

After that shocking moment, the staff surprised Maria Theresa with a birthday song and also we sang a birthday song for her, She was really surprised at that time she was really teary-eyed at that moment.

After that unforgettable moment, we continued our food, we had a little chat and we shared laughter that night we also thought of how much our bill was, after that, we decided to go to him since it was past 9 o'clock in the evening.

Sadly my husband was not able to catch up on that dinner because he had an important matter to do but he just picked us up at the restaurant.

Anything that you give in kindness towards one another will come back to you a millionfold in the blessing of our God.

For my second mother, thank you for treating me as your true daughter, for being nanay to my kids without any hesitation, thank you for taking good care of me and my family, thank you for always asking if I eat, If I have still had an allowance, thank you for being there if I needed, even if I act childish sometimes but still you are there for me.
