Hello Hivers! Good day!
How was your Christmas Day? Was it okay, and did you enjoy it? I really hope so.

Starting My Christmas Day

Today, I’ll be sharing about my day during Christmas. In my previous blog, I shared with you what happened early in the morning. This time, though, I actually started my day at 9 in the morning.

After having breakfast, my younger cousin came and told us that our grandma was calling us to go to her house because the games were about to start. There were no raffles this time—it was all games!

Family Moments and Cash Gifts

When I arrived at my grandma’s house, I spent some time socializing with my younger cousins. They’re all so cute! Minutes later, my auntie from Canada called, and we had a video call with my mother and grandma.

Grandma suddenly said, “Quick, line up because your auntie will give you cash gifts.” So, we lined up right away. After receiving the money, we all thanked our auntie through the video call.

Unfortunately, my younger sister wasn’t there because she had a Christmas party at church. If you remember, she’s one of the Santas! So, my grandma decided to hand me her cash gift and told me to give it to her later. I assured her, “Sure, grandma, I’ll give it to her when she gets here.”

Spin the Wheel Fun

After everyone received their cash gifts, I decided to go outside. There, I saw my uncle busy making our “Spin the Wheel” game. He used recycled materials, and wow, he was so creative! I didn’t expect his ideas to turn out this way. He only used iron nails to make it spin.

In the game, the player spins the wheel, and wherever it stops, that’s their prize. My uncle handed out the prizes himself.

At first, the prizes included: 50, 20, 10, a jackpot of 100, and soft drinks. The kids were the first to play, so those were the initial prizes.

Bigger Prizes for Later Rounds

In round two, the prizes were updated. New items like lollipops and candy sticks were added. These were leftover prizes from my older cousins’ earlier games, so instead of wasting them, they were included as prizes now.

For round three, there were even bigger prizes: two sacks of Ganador rice and 500 cash. It was really hard to win these three prizes because the wheel kept stopping at 100 or a lollipop. Luckily, my uncle and dad managed to win the two sacks of rice. No one won the 500 cash prize.

Consolation Prizes

For those who didn’t win anything, there were some consolation prizes to ensure everyone had fun.

And that wraps up the games and activities from my Christmas Day! I hope you enjoyed your Christmas Day as much as I enjoyed mine.

Happy New Year in advance, my dear Hivers!
