Getting Ready for my Nanay's 60th Birthday Celebration

Hello everyone, it's Rhea again. And you know how much I love sharing my life stories with you, and today I've got another memorable story it is all about getting ready for my nanay’s 60th birthday celebration.

My parents and I have been always a busy bees planning and preparing for the party. Last week at exactly 8:50 AM we decided to go to Lutopan in Toledo City since It's the closest place for us to get all our partys’ needs, even if it is about 40 minutes ride.

And then we finally arrived at Lutopan around 10:00 AM my aunt which is my mother’s sister, was with us and she immediately told me to be her shopping assistant.

Before going to the stores, something beautiful caught my eye it’s the Lutopan church it is absolutely breathtaking and I just had to snap a picture.

Anyway we took a quick stop at Cebuana since my aunt withdrew some cash and after that we started to buy the stuffs we need.

I was helping my aunt carry all the things we bought.

And what a perfect timing just as we finished purchasing my parents were also done with their shopping.

But suddenly the rain started to pour. We patiently waited while talking and laughing until the rain finally stopped.

Once it stopped, we headed back home so that we can start preparing the stuffs we bought.

As soon as we got back I immediately I then started wrapping the lumpia, I wanted to get them made early so I could put it in the fridge so that it would be hassle free for us to cook it.

After that I also helped my nanay decorate the party area.

Later that night we also made up some delicious tapioca salad. Luckily my childhood friend came over and helped us pack the salad into the salad containers.
