Saludos queridos hivers, espero no haber llegado muy tarde hasta aquí, pero, no puedo dejar pasar la oportunidad de presentarles mi participación en la iniciativa del mes de mayo en la comunidad de Familia y Amigos, donde el tema a tratar es sumamente especial: Nuestra madre, siendo este el llamado mes de las madres es ideal recordar aquellos momentos junto a las mujeres maravillosas de nuestra vida y expresar lo importante que son para nosotros. Así que sin más preámbulos les comparto mi participación.

Greetings dear hivers, I hope I have not arrived here too late, but, I can not miss the opportunity to present my participation in the initiative of the month of May in the community of Family and Friends, where the theme is very special: Our mother, being this the so-called month of mothers is ideal to remember those moments with the wonderful women in our lives and express how important they are to us. So without further ado, I share with you my participation.

¿Qué recuerdos bonitos tienes en alguna festividad del día de las madres?

Son muchos los momentos memorables vividos durante esta festividad familiar, aunque los que considero más bonitos tuvieron lugar durante la época de mi niñez, recuerdo hacer junto con mis primas coreografías para presentarlas a nuestras madres en ese día especial, así como también darles regalos a todas mis tías por lo general yo solía regalar accesorios y ellas siempre agradecían este gesto con una linda sonrisa.

Además, estas festividades familiares se caracterizan por la unió, el cariño y las risas que nunca faltan, así como también platillos divinos y es que, aunque este día se enfoca solo en las madres, hasta quienes no somos madres aun lo disfrutamos con suma alegría.

What beautiful memories do you have in any Mother's Day festivity?

There are many memorable moments lived during this family holiday, although the ones I consider the most beautiful took place during my childhood, I remember doing together with my cousins choreographies to present them to our mothers on that special day, as well as giving gifts to all my aunts usually I used to give accessories and they always thanked me for this gesture with a nice smile.

In addition, these family festivities are characterized by unity, affection and laughter that are never lacking, as well as divine dishes and, although this day is focused only on mothers, even those of us who are not mothers still enjoy it with great joy.

¿Existe alguna tradición familiar para celebrar este día? Descríbela.

Creo que no tenemos ninguna tradición especifica como tal, lo que sí es seguro es que intentaremos reunirnos la mayor cantidad de miembros familiares posibles y haremos algo para comer, acto en el cual no puede faltar una deliciosa torta como postre, el intercambiar regalos y lanzarnos anécdotas también es una costumbre, aunque es algo que hacemos en cada reunión familiar existente o cumpleaños.

Is there any family tradition to celebrate this day? Describe it.

I don't think we have any specific tradition as such, what is certain is that we will try to get together as many family members as possible and we will have something to eat, an act in which a delicious cake for dessert is a must, exchanging gifts and telling anecdotes is also a custom, although it is something we do in every existing family reunion or birthday.

¿Cuál es el mejor regalo que le pudieses dar a tu mamá?

Considero que el mejor regalo que le puedo dar es la tranquilidad de saber que hizo un papel de madre ejemplar, aquella que siempre ha estado para sus hijos incluso cuando no debería y aquel que nos impulsa a dar lo mejor de sí mismos sin importar las circunstancias. Mi madre es una persona a la que no le importan los regalos materiales, aunque siempre intento darle pequeños presentes para que sepa que pienso en ella en cada instante, pero en conclusión el mejor regalo que le puedo dar es mi compañía hasta que la vida me lo permita, y la tranquilidad de manifestarle que es la mejor madre.

What is the best gift you could give your mom?

I consider that the best gift I can give her is the peace of mind of knowing that she played the role of an exemplary mother, the one who has always been there for her children even when she shouldn't and the one who pushes us to give the best of ourselves no matter the circumstances. My mother is a person who does not care about material gifts, although I always try to give her small presents to let her know that I think of her at every moment, but in conclusion the best gift I can give her is my company until life allows me, and the peace of mind to tell her that she is the best mother.

Nuestras madres tienen una personalidad única, al igual que cada ser humano poseen sus defectos, pero el corazón de una madre es lo más puro y genuino que existe en el mundo, nos acompañan hasta el final del camino y marcan nuestra vida para siempre, por eso debemos estar orgullosos de la madre que tenemos por el simple hecho de habernos permitido darnos vida y sobre todo, no debemos limitarnos a celebrar a la madre un solo día, debemos hacerlo siempre y cada vez que tengamos tiempo, tal como dice mi papá “El día de la Madre es todos los días.”

Espero que todos hayan disfrutado un día de la madre junto a la suya, y que sean muchos años más de los que puedan imaginar junto a ellas. ¡Gracias por leerme! Nos vemos en un futuro post.

Our mothers have a unique personality, just like every human being they have their flaws, but the heart of a mother is the purest and most genuine thing that exists in the world, they accompany us until the end of the road and mark our life forever, that is why we should be proud of the mother we have for the simple fact of having allowed us to give us life and above all, we should not limit ourselves to celebrate the mother just one day, we should do it always and every time we have time, just as my dad says "Mother's Day is every day."
