Hello, Hivers! How are you all? It’s been a busy week with overlapping school activities, especially with the upcoming CVRAA competition and Arts Month happening. As a MAPEH teacher, it's given that I'll be the one organizing this event, leaving me little time to relax. 😅 But finally, I got the time to breathe and give myself a break!
We had a special celebration for my sister-in-law, @honeylhen1995, who just took her oath as a licensed teacher. 🎉 It was a proud moment for the family, and of course, we celebrated it with good food and great company. Stay tuned as I share our dining experience and this unforgettable day! 💛
Since the oathtaking ceremony took a while, my husband and I decided to go ahead to the restaurant to reserve a table. Since it was Sunday, the mall was full of people, and finding a spot wasn’t easy. The crowd was even bigger because of the oathtaking event, as many passers also had their turn. Luckily, we managed to secure a table just in time for the celebration. It was a perfect way to end such a special day!
A little while later, they messaged that the ceremony was over and they were already hungry since it was past noon. So, we ordered food in advance to have everything ready when they arrived. My husband and I picked dishes we liked, while my sister-in-law and the rest of the family sent their orders through chat. This way, we could all eat right away and enjoy the celebration together!
While waiting for our food, we took some pictures and enjoyed the nice atmosphere. It was a good decision that we reserved a table early because more people started arriving. The place filled up fast, and it’s easy to see why—the food is really good and worth it. Many diners kept coming in, excited to eat. Seeing the crowd, we became even more eager to try our food, knowing we were in for a delicious and satisfying meal.
A little later, they arrived just as our food was served—perfect timing! Everyone was starving, so we ate right away. Then at the middle of our eating, we realized we forgot to take a group photo! 😂 Wanting a memory to look back, we paused and asked the staff to take one for us. And just like that, click! A great photo to remember the day. It was a simple but special moment, and I truly loved it! 💛📸
We then continued eating, excited to try the different dishes on the table. Everyone was eager to taste each one, and we definitely weren’t disappointed! We ordered different and a lot of dishes, and each one was delicious. The flavors were just right, and the servings were big, making it worth it. No regrets—it was a great meal that filled everyone up and satisfied our cravings!
After we had our lunch, we walked around the mall to explore and make the most of our time. We checked out different stores, looked at items, and did some window shopping. Of course, we didn’t just browse—we also bought a few things. Some grabbed snacks, while others found nice items to bring home. It was a simple but fun way to enjoy the day before we finally decided it was time to leave and head back home.
We got to passed by this nice spot for a picture-taking, so we took the chance to took some photos. At this point, we had already split up, as some were buying items, others were shopping for delicacies, and some were just wandering around. We simply agreed to message each other when it was time to go home. It was a fun and chill way to wrap up the day, making sure everyone got to do what they wanted before going home.
After a couple of hours passed, we decided to head home, so we went to buy bus tickets. Once we had them, we lined up right away since there were a lot of people also heading home. We had to wait for the bus as none had arrived yet, but despite the wait, it was still a great day well spent with family.
