Hoy me encuentro nuevamente con ustedes para compartirles la excelente experiencia que vivimos, hace aproximadamente un mes en la celebración del don de la vida de mi querida sobrina.

Today I am with you again to share with you the excellent experience we lived, about a month ago at the celebration of the gift of life of my dear niece.

Son quince años que han pasado de una forma veloz porque parece que fue ayer cuando Leidy era una pequeña niña que asistía a su colegio y sus clases de música. Es sorprendente como pasa el tiempo y verla ya convertida en mujer es un motivo más que suficiente para celebrar.

Fue una sencilla pero hermosa reunión para este cumpleaños donde disfrutamos tanto familiares, compañeros de trabajo y amigos más allegados.

Ese día estuvo lloviendo toda la tarde y amenazaba con seguír hasta las horas de la noche, por lo cual pensé que ya no asistiría a dicha reunión debido a que el sitio escogido era una pequeña granja ubicada en la parte alta de Cabudare y no conocíamos la zona.

Fifteen years have passed in a fast way because it seems like yesterday when Leidy was a little girl attending her school and music classes. It is amazing how time goes by and to see her as a woman is more than enough reason to celebrate.
It was a simple but beautiful gathering for this birthday where we enjoyed family, co-workers and close friends.
That day it was raining all afternoon and it was threatening to continue until the evening hours, so I thought that I would not attend the meeting because the site chosen was a small farm located in the upper part of Cabudare and we did not know the area.

A eso de las ocho de la noche, por fin dejó de llover y aprovechamos para salir. La granja no estaba lejos de mi residencia pero el camino era en pendiente, estaba oscuro y lleno de agua, por lo que tuvimos que subir con cuidado y preguntándole a la gente porque no conocíamos la ruta.

Al fin llegamos a la granja y ya los invitados estaban disfrutando de la fiesta. La granja era pequeña pero se veia muy agradable, pues tenia una buena piscina, bonitas areas verdes, una cocina de buen tamaño y una churuata donde estaban colocadas las mesas y el DJ.

At about eight o'clock in the evening, it finally stopped raining and we took the opportunity to go out. The farm was not far from my residence but the road was steep, dark and full of water, so we had to climb carefully and asking people because we did not know the route.
We finally arrived at the farm and the guests were already enjoying the party. The farm was small but looked very nice, it had a nice pool, nice green areas, a good size kitchen and a churuata where the tables and the DJ were placed.

Nos acomodamos en una mesa donde habían familiares y amigos y compartimos anécdotas y chistes con todos ellos. Por supuesto también bailamos al son de la música muy buena que colocaba un DJ. También degustamos los pasapalos dulces y salados que la mamá de la cumpleañera había preparado.

Aproximadamente a la diez de la noche hizo su aparición la quinceañera luciendo un hermoso vestido y un maquillaje espectacular.

Enseguida comenzó a sonar el vals y todos, comenzando por sus padres y familiares, bailaron con la quinceañera.

We sat at a table with family and friends and shared anecdotes and jokes with all of them. Of course we also danced to the great music played by a DJ. We also tasted the sweet and savory snacks that the birthday girl's mother had prepared.
At approximately ten o'clock at night, the quinceañera made her appearance wearing a beautiful dress and a spectacular make-up.
The waltz began to play and everyone, starting with her parents and family, danced with the birthday girl.

Luego nos invitaron a brindar por sus quince años y seguimos disfrutando de la fiesta hasta que a las dos de la mañana, comenzó nuevamente a llover fuerte.

Pensamos que se iba a acabar la fiesta pero trajeron más comida, seguimos bailando y finalmente cantamos el cumpleaños para picar y degustar la rica y hermosa torta.

Then they invited us to toast to their fifteenth birthday and we continued enjoying the party until two in the morning, when it started to rain again.
We thought the party was going to end but they brought more food, we continued dancing and finally we sang the birthday to snack and taste the rich and beautiful cake.

La lluvia continuó y hubo que mover los equipos para protegerlos del agua pero la música no paró y tampoco la celebración. Al final nos despedimos y regresamos a casa luego de disfrutar bastante en la reunión.

Este tipo de celebración no puede faltar en una familia porque sirve para estrechar lazos y estimular la unión de cada miembro de la familia.

Fue una lástima que el teléfono se me descargará en la mitad de la fiesta y por eso no pude tomar tantas fotos. Les comparto algunas de ellas.

The rain continued and we had to move the equipment to protect it from the water, but the music did not stop and neither did the celebration. At the end we said our goodbyes and returned home after enjoying the reunion.
This type of celebration is a must in a family because it serves to strengthen ties and stimulate the union of each member of the family.
It was a pity that my phone went dead in the middle of the party and that's why I couldn't take so many pictures. I will share some of them with you.
