The Extravagant Welcome Party of a Family Member

I was supposed to attend the birthday party of my close friend however, I wasn't able to come as I prioritized the instant invitation by my cousin to conduct a welcome party for her son and his wife the newlywed couple that will happen here in our province. It was attended exclusively by the family and selected friends who are part of our family already.

My nephew was an Architecture Graduate who is married to his schoolfellow. Both of them are licensed architects and are from affluent families. Their relationship is too private and we cannot even see them posting their stories on social media. Until the time has come that they were officially engaged. Time flew fast, they got married and we weren't able to eyewitness the sacred matrimony as it was done during work days.

Is it important to spend a lot to appreciate and welcome the new member of the family? Well then, it depends on the decision of both sides. To others, it may sound useless and a waste of money but to them, it is valuable and remarkable since almost all of our relatives weren't able to witness their togetherness. This is what my blog is all about, the lavish welcome party for the wife of my nephew.

The Big Surprise

Who doesn't like surprises? Is surprising somebody beneficial? Some folks don't like to be surprised even if how impressive would it be. They got annoyed and never wanted it to happen as they were thinking it is embarrassing to them. Others appreciate the unexpected and feel like being carried away to cloud 9. An overflowing joy will be felt and it is heartwarming when surprised. This was the clever plan of my cousin for her eldest son.

....and part of the plan was the surprise program. Our relatives here in our province make sure that the day will be incredible and one-of-a-kind. They have plotted everything, the reception, the food, and the program that will bring delight and excitement to the newly-wed couple.

The Venue

The famous reception that is accessible to all of us here in our countryside is the Villa Feju Ruba. They have paid the whole rent of the resort and will no longer accept any other customers as this was exclusive to our family and close friends only.

For the program to be more memorable, the session hall was elegantly decorated, with 100 expected attendees. The set-up was well done and will surely bring delight to the new couple and the participants.

The Foods

Foods make the event more exciting and interesting. They hired a caterer who will prepare the food for everyone. This will surprise the newlywed and will give satisfaction to everybody present.

A variety of courses was served; lechon, humba, buttered shrimp, fish seller, chicken cordon bleu, different desserts, and vegetable salad. There were lots of drinks and beverages too.

The Program

My 83-year-old mother delivers her inspirational message that touches us all.

The program was part of the plan. Different messages were given to them so they will be guided in the world of being married. So proud to say that my 83 years old mother delivered her inspirational message. It was so touching hearing her words of wisdom and fruitful words. We were listening to her attentively and were hit when she said "Even if you have reached the highest success in your lives, always stay humble and never forget where you come from." I was totally in awe upon hearing her. It gathered applause in every corner of the venue.

The Fun

Since it was a whole day activity, my daughters, nephews, nieces, cousins, and close friends were having fun taking a plunge into a swimming pool that is truly captivating.

We seldom see each other since most of them are living in the city thus, we enjoy this moment of being together. I was able to share my family problem with them, and I was given comfort. They also shared theirs and were given words of encouragement. We laugh out loud and enjoyed to the fullest.

It was such a good bond and surely made another remarkable history in the family. Despite the hectic schedules that we have, we were able to find time to make this day special. As this quote says:
