Disaster at Sea (Strong winds and rain)

There's happiness in waves.
I am one of those who loves beaches and always finds comfort with my sandy toes.

First of all, I am rrusiana33 and this day I liked to share our happy yet scarry moments at one of the beaches here in Liloan Cebu. I forgot the name of the beach but it was beautiful, has crystal water and white sand with a very clean sorroundings. Who wouldn't loved to witness such a beautiful creation. The place itself was very relaxing. I went here with my family. Someone invited me to attend a simple salo-salo. It was Sunday afternoon when my friend told me to have a quick lunch at the beach to celebrate a mini party. Since I love beaches as well as my family I said yes. I answered him to wait for an hour for I need to buy something to drink first. After, we went directly to the resort and there I saw my friend waited for my arrival. We ate together but sadly I was not able to take picture during eating time. When we were done, my son told me that he wanted to swim and I should accompany him and Mehir. We went to the sea and there we swam. During this time, I already noticed that the weather is bad like look at those cloudy and black skies in the picture. I told my son to be careful for it might rain but at the back of my mind maybe those cloudy skies diappeared but I was wrong. When the rain started, my partner called us and when we arrived to our cottage the rain became strong accompanied with a very strong wind. My partner was really scared and wanted to run away from the seashore to elavated place but got no where to go because everything happened very fast and trees might fall. I secured my youngest son and covered him with a pranella. Everybody got scared, they thought about storm surge and possibly we got rid off by the water. Everyone in the cottage got wet due to flash of water. It took 30 minutes for it to stop and everyone wanted to go home after. With that scarry incident, my partner asked me if we could go home right after the fortuitous event. She was frightened I could really tell. She worried so much for the 2 kids were with us during that time. To at least lightened her heart, we went hkme after that. I wanted her to feel okey. She got easily nervous. I asked permission to my friend if I could go home first because my partner was not feeling well due to anxiety attack for what had happened was something terrifying. When they understood our situation, we went home straight and there I told her to rest and to release the stress. I assured her that everything was okey. The happy moments turned to be a nightmare to a first timer who witnessed a situation like that. Gladly, she was relieved.

Even in your favorite places, harm can still happen. So thankful for we are all safe. Hope not to experience that again.
