JBY and Balamban Exploration!

What is up hivers! Sh1zen here for another blog and today let me share with you our experience with my friend going to a famous gasoline station at Balamban, Cebu.

At first, my friend chat to me that he might go to JBY Fuel to explore the place because we’ve never visited this place before and we were curious as to why there are so many riders visiting this place. We never planned this ride ahead of time😅 he just told me that he will try to visit this place because he has no more classes and I agreed because I was also free that time.

We are the only 2 that are free this time so we proceeded and decided to go and see what this place is really about. We met up at Banilad, Cebu and we started our ride from there. Our ride was smooth going there. This will be the furthest ride that we will experience because the last furthest ride was only at Balwarte ni Alfredo but this time it’s really more far from Balwarte it’s like the last part of Busay so it’s really far.

We were confused at first and got lost a little because we were not using any guide, we were just going straight. Luckily my friend noticed that we already passed JBY but my friend said since we already passed it, let’s explore more. So we proceeded to Gaisano Balamban and took pictures. Their front has big space so we positioned our motorcycles at the front of the Gaisano Balamban sign for a picture😅. It was really far but the experience was worth it. We did not explore and go inside because there’s not enough time.

After at Gaisano Balamban, my friend suggests we go a bit further and check what is more that we can check. Upon a couple of minutes riding, we saw a crossing and a sign saying on the right is for going to Asturias and Tuburan and on the left is for Toledo City so we checked the map, it’s already for another route going back but it’s really far and we have no time so we decided to go back to JBY and chill for a bit.

Upon reaching JBY Fuel, there’s a gasoline station, a convenience store that is owned by JBY, a cafe and some food stores so it was really nice. You can really chill here because of the view. You can see the mountain above and chill because they have a convenience store. We then ordered some food for snacks. Talked a little if we can go to Toledo😅 but there’s no time because it’s starting to get dark so we said next time we might visit it. We really enjoyed this unexpected ride, my friend is wearing only half-faced helmet because it was not planned😅.

I can recommend this place for those who want to chill after a long ride, you can rest here for a bit before going to ride again. You can really enjoy the place because it has everything you need. They have restrooms, a place to relax and eat, a store, etc. After eating our snacks, we geared up and decided to go back home since it’s getting dark already.

On our way home, we decided to stop over at a beautiful spot where you can see the sunset clearly. It was a really good spot and there were riders also stopping by because of the sunset view. It was really relaxing so we took pictures then decided to go straight back home. To be able to travel the transcentral highway was really relaxing because of the curves. We will go back here soon for sure.
