Hey Hive Lovers I hope you are doing well!! At @vida.verde we have been doing many things that I have not been able to tell you about due to the lack of electrical service so we do not have internet either.
Living in the middle of nature is truly wonderful, but the times for service facilities are long.
At the end of August we were invited by a collaborator of @vida.verde, Architect Carlos Myers, to join an activity at the Faculty of Architecture of the UCV, Central University of Venezuela, organized by him together with the NGO Uniendo Voluntades among others. , where we would have a drawing workshop with the artist Franco Britanico Ser who came to know our country and leave his artistic mark on the walls of the Petare San Blass neighborhood.
And of course we did not hesitate to join. This Workshop was given to boys and girls who are being treated for different diseases at the University Hospital of Caracas and Children's Hospital, JM de Los Ríos.
All of this was in record time, we received a call from Carlos on a Friday at 3 pm and the activity was for Tuesday of the following week.
Everything was very rushed and we saw it so feasible due to the times to achieve the objectives.
We immediately got to work and got our allies from Kores de Venezuela to support us with materials for this beautiful activity.
Tuesday arrived and with it a heavy rain that paralyzed the city of Caracas, preventing us from reaching the Kores offices in time to look for the donation.
We were distressed because the distance was long and the traffic was heavy, and we were already 1 hour late.
We managed to get to Kores, collect the donation and from there we ran towards the UCV, the rain stopped and the traffic slowed down.
Finally we arrived at the Faculty of Architecture of the Central University of Venezuela just in time to start.
Here we met the rest of the collaborators, organizations, artists and creators who, like us, joined this Jordan of joy and colors for these boys and girls.
It was a beautiful afternoon full of many smiles and joy for these little ones who with great enthusiasm carried out the Workshop at Seb Toussaint where they learned more about art and how to draw letters in an artistic way.
We had a great and successful day thanks to the dedication and will of all of us who were part of it.
Una Jornada donde unimos voluntades
Hey Hive Lovers espero estén muy bien!! En @vida.verde hemos estado haciendo muchas cosas que no les he podido contar por la falta de servicio eléctrico por lo que tampoco tenemos internet.
Vivir en un medio de la naturaleza es realmente maravilloso, pero los tiempos para las instalaciones de servicio son largos .
A finales del mes de Agosto fuimos convocados por un colaborador de @vida.verde el Arquitecto Carlos Myers para sumarnos a una actividad en la Facultad de Arquitectura de la UCV , Universidad Central de Venezuela, organizada por el junto a la ONG Uniendo Voluntades entre otros, dónde tendríamos un taller de dibujo junto al artista Franco Britanico Ser que vino a conocer nuestro país y a dejar su huella artística en muros de Barrio de Petare San Blass.
Y por supuesto no dudamos en sumarnos este Taller fue dictado a niños y niñas que se encuentran en tratamiento por diferentes enfermedades en el Hospital Universitario de Caracas y Hospital de Niños , JM de Los Ríos.
Todo esto fue en tiempo récord recibimos la llamada de Carlos un viernes a las 3 pm y la actividad era para el Martes de la siguiente semana.
Todo era muy apresurado y nos veíamos tan factible por los tiempos para lograr los objetivos.
De inmediato pusimos manos a la obra y logramos que nuestros aliados de Kores de Venezuela nos apoyarán con materiales para esta hermosa actividad .
Llegó el día Martes y con el una fuerte lluvia que paralizó la ciudad de Caracas que impidió llegar a tiempo a las oficinas de Kores para buscar la donación, estábamos angustiados pues la distancia era larga y el tráfico mucho , ya tenios 1 hora de atrasa.
Logramos llegar hasta Kores , retirar la donación y de allí salimos corriendo hacia la UCV , dejo de llover y el tráfico bajo.
Al fin llegamos a la Facultad de Arquitectura de Universidad Central de Venezuela justo a tiempo para dar inicio .
Aquí conocimos el resto de colaboradores, organizaciones, artistas y creadores que al igual que nosotros se sumaron a esta jordana de alegría y colores para estos niños y niñas .
Fue una hermosa tarde llena de muchas sonrisas y alegría para estos pequeños que con mucho estusiasmo realizaron el Taller justo a Seb Toussaint dónde aprendieron más de arte y a dibujar letras de una forma artística.
Tuvimos una gran y exitosa jornada gracias a la suma y voluntad de todos los que hicimos parte de ella.
