Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Jesus shall come again. That same Jesus, crucified, buried, who rose from the death in victory. The Jews didn't expect His resurrection, just as the world is relaxing about His second coming today.
But today, the Lord has commanded us to be ready. He shall come unannounced. He shall come in glory and power. He shall take many unawares, but let us not be taken unawares.
Thus, we must be ready at all times. To be ready for His second coming means living the life of Christ, both in secret and in the open
When He comes, will He find us faithful to the things committed to our care? Meditate on this.
