KNOWING THE SOURCE OF YOUR RESULTS.

Knowing where it lies makes for emphasis. There is the source for everything, nothing stands on its own. Delilah in her notoriety sought to know the source of Samson’s great power. She knew there was more to it, she sought to trace it to the root. Not until she traced it to the hair on Samson’s head, she refused to give herself rest. Knowing the source of the strength in your being will enhance your fitness for the race you’ve been called to run. It is clear from the scriptures that we are nothing in ourselves: we are not sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as of ourselves. It is not at all in man to walk to direct his steps, the steps of the just are ordered by God.

It is not all about beholding the colorful results of your life and praising your hard work. No! It is all about knowing the source of the results. Knowing where it lies turns out to be the preservation of the colorful results in your life. Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon and he spake and said –

_ “Is not this the great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty?” Daniel 4:30._

While the word was in the king’s mouth, he was dethroned and disgraced, because, he felt it all lay within him.

There is nothing fantastic which man can put in place which God doesn’t know; because, it is God that giveth power to obtain. Jesus proclaimed as recorded in John 15:5 –

“I am the vine, ye are the branches; he that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth much fruit: for without Me, ye can do nothing”.

In Him is our fruit found. Knowing that it all lies with Him; one thing there is to nurture and cherish is our fellowship with Him. Let nothing come in between your relationship with God. Since it all lies in Him, He has to be seen primary in your life and His will your priority in life.
