Welcome to the HeartChurch Venezuela Blog

Dear Community:

It is the children's vacation season, a time when children get together and recreational and cultural activities take place. Despite the problems with the pandemic and the current situation, we through Pan del Cielo canteens were able to deploy three activities in different areas of the state, and we want to share some pictures of them.

On this occasion we decided to take the mobile dining room to the area of the "Aldea" located in the city of Puerto La Cruz, Anzoátegui- state, Venezuela, a very humble and very needy place, happy to be able to bring a different day to the children of this town.

We present one of the protagonists of this story, a community leader by the name of Liliana Marin, a simple woman who was diagnosed many years ago with terminal cancer: her faith in Christ was so powerful that she achieved the miracle of her healing, today she tells us how from that moment she has dedicated her life to strengthen the lives of others and bring that message of healing and faith that God has given her, she and her husband dress up as animated characters and are volunteers in taking and preparing meals to children throughout the city and different spaces, without a doubt, it has been wonderful to meet with it.

Our desire is to work for them and to be able to bring them physical and spiritual nourishment, love and dedication not only today but permanently.

Children are those wonderful beings of light that fill our lives every day, sometimes it seems that we are doing them a favor by bringing food and educating them, however, the favor is done by these little ones filling our hearts with wonderful seeds of genuine love.

It is true that there is much need around us, just as there are people with great hearts willing to take on the work that Jesus left us.

Let us never forget what is written in the book of Isaiah:

Isaiah 58:5-11
Reina-Valera 1960
5 Is this the fast that I have chosen, that a man should afflict his soul by day, that he should bow his head like a reed, and make a bed of sackcloth and ashes? shall ye call this a fast, and a day acceptable unto the LORD?
6 Is it not rather the fast that I have chosen, to loose the bands of ungodliness, to loose the burdens of oppression, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
7 Is it not that you break your bread with the hungry, and shelter the wandering poor in your house; that when you see the naked, you cover him, and do not hide yourself from your brother?
8 Then shall thy light break forth as the dawn, and thy salvation shall soon be seen; and thy righteousness shall go before thee, and the glory of the LORD shall be thy rear guard.
9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall hear thee: thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou wilt take away the yoke from the midst of thee, and the threatening finger, and the vain speaking;
10 And if thou shalt give thy bread to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then shall thy light rise in the darkness, and thy gloom shall be as the noonday.
11 The LORD shall feed thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and strengthen thy bones: and thou shalt be as a watered garden, and as a well of water, whose waters fail not.
