Orbalicious

Another shot from the train tunnel shoot I did recently with Rachel.
I like having humans in my light painting images (particularly with my orbs) as they help to convey the size and scale of the scene, though it can be a challenge to have people stand completely still while I play around with light. This orb took around 30 secs to create. When finished, I turned off the tool and then fumbled my way in the dark over behind the camera and illuminated Rachel (and the graffiti) from the front. Amazingly she managed to pose like this for 50 seconds without moving an inch. A pretty solid feat 😊
The tool used for the orb was an orange acrylic tube with a purple plastic tip taped on the end (scroll for pix). Torch used was the Lightpainter from Light Painting Paradise
Tunnel illuminated with the RGB control unit of the FiberFlies Pixel Whip.
