¡Hola, amigos y amigas de Hive y SWC! Soy Wilfrer Astudillo, pero muchos de ustedes me conocen como @ban-sw. Hoy quiero compartir un poco sobre mi experiencia en la primera edición de Freestyle Day 2025, que se llevó a cabo el pasado domingo 30 de marzo. Fue un evento espectacular, lleno de muchísimo talento, y quiero contarles cómo fue mi jornada.
Ese día fue realmente agotador, lleno de sudor,esfuerzo y sangre. Y sí, cuando hablo de sangre, me refiero a que el sol estaba tan fuerte que la barra se calentó y eso hizo que los callos de mis manos reventaran. Varios atletas, incluido yo, terminamos con un dolor inmenso en las manos, pero a pesar de eso, la adrenalina, el esfuerzo y la disciplina nos llevaron a seguir compitiendo. Les confieso que no me sentía con mucho ánimo en ese momento. Había dudas sobre mi talento y mi capacidad para ganar, y pensaba que quizás aún no era lo suficientemente bueno. Sin embargo, de las experiencias se aprende. A pesar de estar desanimado, decidí darlo todo y esforzarme al máximo.
Y para mi sorpresa, ¡logré quedar en el podio! Terminé en 3° lugar, algo que jamás imaginé. Aprendí que si uno se esfuerza, puede llegar lejos, aunque todavía tengo un largo camino por recorrer. Sin más que agregar, los dejo con algunas fotografías del evento. ¡Espero que les gusten!
Hello, friends of Hive and SWC! I'm Wilfrer Astudillo, but many of you know me as @ban-sw. Today I want to share a bit about my experience in the first edition of Freestyle Day 2025, which took place last Sunday 30th March. It was a spectacular event, full of so much talent, and I want to tell you about my day.
That day was really exhausting, full of sweat, effort and blood. And yes, when I say blood, I mean that the sun was so strong that the bar got hot and that made the calluses on my hands burst. Several athletes, including myself, ended up with immense pain in our hands, but in spite of that, the adrenaline, the effort and the discipline led us to continue competing. I confess that I wasn't feeling in the best of spirits at the time. There were doubts about my talent and my ability to win, and I thought that maybe I was not yet good enough. However, you learn from experiences. Despite being discouraged, I decided to give it my all and try my best.
And to my surprise, I made it to the podium! I finished in 3rd place, something I never imagined. I learned that if you work hard, you can go far, although I still have a long way to go. Without further ado, I leave you with some pictures of the event, I hope you like them!
